The Nassfeld, located directly at the border to Italy, attracts with its size, the diversity of pistes, the modern
cable cars and lifts and the stunning mountain panorama. Thanks to its special topography and the microclimate is Nassfeld not only one of the most snow-reliable but also one of the ski resorts with the most hours
of sunshine in the Alps. The many offers and services compiled for you in our information brochure aim to make your stay in one
of Austria’s Top 10 ski resorts especially beneficial and pleasant. For example, you will be entitled to all the
advantages and services detailed on page 7 if you stay at one of our “PREMIUM Partner Company”
accommodation providers.
Nassfeld invests in better quality
18 million Euros have been invested in projects for the winter season 2014/15. Improving the quality of the range of offers, creating new hotel facilities and piste attractions, 18 million Euros have been invested at Nassfeld
so far. Projects like the construction of new hotels, resort expansions, Fun Slope Park and Ski Movie – Parallel
Track Gartnerkofel have benefited from the investments. Since Nassfeld boasts around 100 of sunshine more
than areas north of the Alps, the investments were also used to create the sunny spots at the upper terminus of
the “Gartnerkofel Cable Car” and the Madritsche. This included the installation of sun dials and a sunshine hour
counter, displaying the up-to-date counted amount of sunshine hours.
A variety of fun zones, which provide even more diversity on your days of skiing, have been compiled under the
title “Entertainment along the Piste”. (Ski Movie race track, speed track, Snow Park, NTC Blue Day, Nassfeld ‘cinemas’, BMW xDrive Cup, and more)
The offer at the “Nordic Competence Centre & Beginner Area” (lower terminus Millennium Express) has also
been improved with cross-country skiing, guest biathlon and a children’s area. This brochure provides all details
as well as information about offers and services. Be inspired and extensively informed about the many possibilities which the destination Nassfeld-Lake Pressegger See and its surrounding communities have to offer.

Nordic Competence Center & Beginner Area
The new Nordic Competence Center (lower terminus Millennium-Express, Tröpolach) offers plenty of variety
for fans of cross-country skiing: snow-covered practising cross-country ski trails, cross-country skiing equipment
hire & school as well as a facility to practise biathlon. The Beginners‘ Area provides simply „Fun in the Snow“:
Ski- & board practising area, snow tubing and Zipfelbob, archery facility, snowshoe hiking.
Free WiFi throughout the ski resort
Send photos, holiday greetings and fun directly from the piste. There are more than 20 WiFi hotspots

Night Skiing: “Colourful Piste”
From 03.01.-28.02.2015, every Saturday on one of the longest floodlit pistes in the Alps. The piste in colour
instead of white, the programme even more colourful and the fun even bigger – that is “Night skiing NEW” at
Nassfeld.
The only way is downhill, whether on skis or NTC fun devices – whether after a stop at an alpine hut or after
a “Culinary Round Trip” with the new gourmet gondola. There is a “sliding hill” for kids, a snowshoe tour from

Gmanberg for romantics, Farmer’s Market, hut jamboree, music and fun – it couldn’t be more colourful.

Nassfeld – „Skiing where the sun shines“
A gift from nature: You enjoy skiing on the sunny pistes at Nassfeld whilst the Northern Alps
are draped in clouds.
Compared to areas north of the Alps, Nassfeld has on average a „more‘‘ of 100 sunshine hours
during the winter months.
Selecting the right piste, skiing on sunny pistes is possible almost all day long due to
Nassfeld‘s topography.
You can check how many hours of sunshine the winter has already provided by looking at the
Nassfeld sun dial at the newly created sunny spots (Kofel Alm-Madritsche and lower terminus
Gartnerkofel).
The Nassfeld turns into the Alps‘ largest sun terrace during the time of sun skiing. Enjoy the many
events, cool Caribbean drinks and – depending on your mood – the fun at the huts or just relaxing
in the spring sunshine.

FAQ:
What do I have to do to return a ski pass after an accident?
The costs for a ski pass can only be refunded for the person injured during a sports accident if the ski pass is
returned to the place of issue. Refunds are paid in cash. A medical certificate from a doctor of the Hermagor
district or a state hospital is required. Family members who may have to depart earlier in order to accompany
the injured person are not entitled to a refund.
What do I have to do when my ski pass is lost or stolen?
Submitting the receipt, a ski pass can be blocked and a replacement pass may be issued.
In case of season-crossing, how is the price for lift passes calculated?
The computer at the payment counter will automatically calculate an appropriate price.

Nordic Competence Center & Beginners‘ Area Tröpolach Nassfeld
The new snow trend sport – the practising area is situated in Tröpolach directly next to the lower
terminus Millennium - Express. The equipment is issued at the „Fun Box“.
The Nordic Competence Center provides a cross-country practising track and a new biathlon facility
for guests. Furthermore, there is a professional cross-country school on site. A hire station for crosscountry ski equipment is also available. On the snow-covered cross-country ski practising track and
the biathlon loop for guests, with cross-country ski school and equipment hire, anyone can have a go
at biathlon whilst supervised by experts.
Beginners‘ Area
The Beginners‘ Area aims to enable beginners to take their first curves on skis and snowboard as
well as getting the young-at-heart to enjoy fun in the snow (see Blue Day). NTC Sport Sölle ensures
that beginners feel at ease.

Wald, bis zur Wegkreuzung und mit herrlichem Ausblick auf die Kärntner Berge.
Anspruchsvoll kupiert durch eine landschaftlich sehr
schöne Gegend verläuft die Tröpolach Loipe.
