PARTNERSHIP OVERVIEW
HISTORY
We are more than a world-class racing team and we are more than a premier
luxury automobile dealership. Lake Forest Sportscars, Rocketsports and R2C
Performance Products are a group of racing and business professionals dedicated
to providing a unique spectrum of partnerships specifically designed to build
brand awareness for a limited number of world-class partners.
Lake Forest Sportscars is a world-class, luxury automobile dealership that sits on
a 70,000 square foot facility with virtual customizing capabilities, internationallytrained technicians and unmatched hospitality. And, oh yes, Lake Forest Sportscars
sells three of the world's most desirable cars - Aston Martin, Ferrari and Maserati.
The success of Lake Forest Sportscars lays not only in the quality of its facility or
the DNA of its vehicles, but the people who stand behind it - The Mancuso
family. In 1924 Rick Mancuso's grandfather, Benjamin, opened a showroom
selling new cars in Batavia, New York. A new chapter started when Rick
Mancuso's father, Jim Mancuso, moved to Chicago in 1953 and shortly thereafter
opened Mancuso Chevrolet in north suburban Chicago.
Now it is the fourth generation of Mancuso's (Rick, sons Adam and Nick and
daughter Cassie) are carrying on the family tradition of selling quality
automotive products as well as becoming one of the most well-respected
names in Motorsport.
Partnering with Lake Forest Sportscars in this endeavor are two very well-known
names in racing, R2C Performance Products and Rocketsports Racing.
R2C was established in 2008 by a number of the Greenlees Filter employees
who share an interest in racing and performance cars. Specifically, they have
used their knowledge of air filtration to design and market unique high
performance air intake systems and air filters for performance and racing
applications.
Rocketsports was formed in Michigan in 1985 and has grown into one of the
most diverse and accomplished companies of its kind in North America. They
have become a leader in race engine and chassis design and construction.
Rocketsports engineers, crew chiefs, team leaders and mechanics have more
than a hundred and sixty years of combined experience and is one of the most
accomplished teams in motorsports today.

PARTNERSHIP OVERVIEW
HISTORY
SCCA Pro Racing Championships
In 1972, the Sports Car Club of America formed a new club racing class for absolutely
stock street automobiles. The class was called "showroom stock," and the original
rules imposed a price ceiling on the cars of $3,000-pennies in comparison to today's
racing budgets. From those humble origins, showroom stock racing grew in
popularity over time, manufacturer interest, cost and number of participants.
s e r i e s pa r t n e r s
On the first day of summer, 1980, a 24-hour showroom stock race was staged at
Nelson Ledges Road Course near Youngstown, Ohio. The success of the Nelson
Ledges "Longest Day" and the amazing response to a second such event at the
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in August, 1984, prompted the SCCA to combine
several existing endurance races into a manufacturers' series for 1984.
This new series was expanded into a six-race professional showroom stock endurance
racing series for 1985. The 1985 series was billed as the Playboy United States
Endurance Cup, with Playboy Magazine its title sponsor. There were four classes
in 1985 (GT, A, B and C) with a per-race purse of $20,000 and year-end bonus of
$60,000.
In 1992, the series underwent another major facelift. One more class was created,
and the classes were renamed A, B, C and D, with some cars re-classified to meet
market needs. Endurance Races were a thing of the past beginning in 1992. All
races became one-hour sprints.
The off-season between 1998 and 1999 proved to be the most pivotal for the World
Challenge, as the Speedvision Network-a cable broadcasting station dedicated to
the fastest things in the air, water and the road-became a part owner in the series
and its title sponsor. Exposure and purses grew exponentially, as did the fields. The
1999 season would average nearly 50 cars per race between the two classes.
Thanks in part to both a highly competitive racing format and top-notch drivers,
SPEED World Challenge moved even closer to the forefront of the road racing
landscape in 2004. In it’s September issue, Car and Driver magazine called World
Challenge "the best road racing in the country,” telling its readers what World
Challenge enthusiasts had known for years.

PARTNERSHIP OVERVIEW
THE V8 VANTAGE IS THE PERFECT
PLATFORM FOR A RACING CAR
The Vantage GT4 is based on the new European specification V8 Vantage,
with modifications to prepare the car for racing. The V8 Vantage was originally
launched in 2005, having undergone the most extensive test programme of
any Aston Martin, in total over 1.5 million kilometres. In 2008, Aston Martin
announced the new technically enhanced Vantage V8. In production form,
the V8 Vantage’s 4.7 litre engine produces 313 kW (420 bhp), giving the car
a maximum speed of 290 kph (180 mph) and a 0-100 kph time of 4.8 sec
(0-60 mph in 4.7 sec). Aston Martin’s unique aluminium bonded architecture
gives class-leading strength and rigidity, with a front midmounted V8 engine
creating optimum front to rear weight distribution and a low centre of gravity
– the perfect foundation for a successful race car.
Situated on 350 acres of rolling countryside, the Autobahn Country Club
features two Alan Wilson designed road courses that, when combined, create
the second longest racing venue in the United States. Lake Forest Sportscars
frequently entertaines a great deal of its upscale customers at the prestigious
Autobahn Country Club by providing supervised driving experiences - many
using the GT car. As a preferred partner of Lake Forest Motorsports, our
partners will also benefit from this one of a kind relationship.

Nick Mancuso
Nick Mancuso is a 21-year-old student at the University of California, Santa
Barbara, and he is also a professional racing driver. After only his first season
of SCCA National competition, and not to mention in only the eighth race
weekend of his life, Mancuso would go on to nearly win the 2007 SCCA
National Championships in the Sports2000 class. He was leading this allimportant race into the last corner on the last lap before he was controversially
taken out from behind (by a 6-time national champion). After recovering, he
would still go on to finish a respectable third place in the nation and received
the prestigious title of SCCA National Rookie of the Year. In February of 2008
Mancuso won an intense, four day Volkswagen driver shootout and secured
a factory seat in the SCCA Pro Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup. Nick finished the
2008 season in fine form by winning North America’s longest endurance race:
The 25 Hours of Thunderhill. While finishing up his degree in BusinessEconomics, Nick has set his sights on a career in professional motorsports
starting Nick Mancuso Racing LLC in 2007. Nick’s diverse background and
unique interests generate significant media attention and enable him to
effectively promote his business partners. The Mancuso name has been involved
in the automotive business since 1923 and Nick hopes to continue this family
tradition by breaking into the top levels of racing. If you would like to know
more about Nick please visit www.NickMancusoRacing.com or contact Nick

PRESS RELEASE
Nick Mancuso Impresses in First Star Mazda Outing
with Team JDC Motorsports
Tuesday, January 13, 2009
On Tuesday, January 13th Nick Mancuso had his first
opportunity to break into the world of open-wheel racing.
Squeezing a test session in between classes at the University
of California Santa Barbara, Mancuso would travel up to
Sonoma, CA for his first laps at the renowned Infineon
Raceway in a Star Mazda racecar prepared by J DC
Motorsports. The Star Mazda series is an open-wheel series
supported by the unique Mazda Motorsports Ladder. This
ladder helps young drivers progress through the ranks of
professional road racing providing the Star Mazda Champion
$750,000 for the next years racing effort.
Running over 300 miles in the one day test, Mancuso
acquitted himself well. “He didn’t make any rookie mistakes
and ended up running very competitive lap times at the end
of the day” commented JDC team founder John Church.
“Nick is a very smart and calculated driver, he knew
specifically where he was losing time even before we looked
at the data.” On his first visit to the circuit and his first time
in the car, Mancuso would end the day fastest of the six Star
Mazda cars present at the test.
“Truly, I was just looking to get a feel for these amazing cars
while I decide what to do for the 2009 season,” Nick
explained. “I must say that Infineon was quite a great track
and the Star Mazda car is second to none. I was surprised
by how quickly I adapted to the car and how quickly my lap
times came down to a competitive level. Infineon Raceway
is a track where you do not
want to take too many
unnecessary chances. I
have to thank Lake Forest
Sportscars, John, Rick and
the whole JDC Motorsports
team as well as Patrick O’Neil for letting me drive their car.”
After only one day in the car, team principle John Church
thought Nick was “already conservatively a solid top-10 driver,
Nick has the potential to run up front in the series.” Mancuso
simply described the day as “much better than being in class,”
but it was definitely a very productive test. “The current
economic climate is not the most conducive to securing
motorsports partners for the 2009 season, but that won’t
stop me from trying! If I can manage to put a few deals
together you will see me in a Star Mazda car in 2009.”
While these cars may be very different from the sedans Nick
was racing last year, John Church summed it up best when
he said “I think he proved that he could handle the car.”
The Star Mazda Championship presented by
GoodYear was formed in 1991 and its success is
evident by the 30 to 40 car fields at many events.
With over $1,000,000 of prize money and the
chance to perform in front of some of the biggest
international racing venues, it is no wonder why the
series attracts talented young drivers year after year.
Graduates of the series have gone on to race in
Grand-Am, ALMS, NASCAR and IndyCar, to name
a few. The series champion is awarded $750,000
to race in the Atlantic Championship- a premier
open-wheel category. All 13 race events are aired on television
providing great exposure for both the drivers and their
respective sponsors.

nearly winning the SCCA National title in a Sports2000 in his
8th race ever, Nick was selected as the SCCA National Rookie
of the Year. He would then go on to land a factory seat in the
Volkswagen Jetta TDI Cup after beating out nearly 800 other
competitors. He finished off 2008 in fine form winning North
America’s longest endurance race: the 25 Hours of Thunderhill.
Currently a student at the University of California, Santa Barbara,
Mancuso has set his sights on a career in professional motorsports.

Nick Mancuso And Team M.E.R. Claim 1st Place In The
25 Hours Of Thunderhill
Tuesday, January 13, 2009
Willows, California—At 3:00pm this past Sunday, the
checkered flag fell upon North America’s longest endurance
racing event. The 25 Hours of Thunderhill has been put on
by the National Auto Sports Association (NASA) for the past
six years at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, California.
Featuring cars from all walks of life- from purpose built
Daytona Prototypes to modified Volkswagen Beetles, and
everything in between- it was the #29 Mazda Miata MX-5
Cup car piloted by Nick Mancuso and co-drivers that took
the honors in the E1 class and finished an amazing 5th place
overall in the field of 68 cars.
out on the track and the
crew did a phenomenal job
in the pits; what more
could you ask for? Many
thanks to Team M.E.R.,
MAZDASPEED,
and
Hoosier Tires for making this win possible.”
Though the #29 car won by a margin of nearly three laps
to its nearest competitor, it was a nail-biter to the very end.
Starting from pole position, Mancuso’s car led for most of
the race, but a win was far from certain until the checkered
flag fell. The decisive element of luck was exemplified by
the overall leading car when, with 35 minutes left in the race,
the #98 Mustang had differential problems and was forced
to retire. Though this style
of racing was much different
than the sprint format
Mancuso has previously
driven in, it looks like he may
be back for more: “it was a
very nice way to cap off a
disappointing 2008 season. Although my plans for the 2009
season may still be uncertain, I definitely know of at least one
race that I will be driving in next year!”

After 475 grueling laps around the 3.0 mile, 15-turn circuit
it was simply a relief when the checkered flag fell. “Honestly,
the hardest part of the event was the last 30 minutes,” said
Mancuso, “and I wasn’t even in the car! Endurance racing
really is a team sport and it’s really tough to sit on the sidelines
and have everything be outside of your control.” Coming
into the event Mancuso had modest expectations. “I knew
that we had the speed to win, but the element of luck comes
heavily into play in the longer races. We kept our nose clean
