friendly and welcoming and home to world-class theatre, dance

HOMESTAY PROGRAM
Lord Selkirk Regional School sponsors a
Homestay Program that ensures students live
in a family environment while focusing on
their academic pursuits. Taking advantage of
the Homestay Program gives students the
opportunity to become part of a new family
and enjoy new friendships. Students have a
private room, three meals a day, and are
included in family activities.
Our International Student Program offers a
homestay program which provides many
services to our international students and their
families. The two staff members personally know most of the families selected for our homestay
program and can assure you they are the safest of
homes. We have also started to organize tours to
complement the student's stay and to ensure they
experience the many highlights Manitoba has to
offer. Students may tour Churchill to see northern
Manitoba and the polar bears, or camp in beautiful
Whiteshell Provincial Park, or attend a Manitoba
Moose Hockey game; the list of activities is endless.
The success of our program depends on the safety,
happiness and fulfilment of our international Comfortable Housing
students’ goals. We want each of them to have a
rewarding lifetime experience.
