We provide lots of services for Wychavon residents and businesses – from emptying bins, cleaning the streets and dealing with planning applications to providing business support, managing parks and giving housing advice. Here are some of the things we’ve done in your local area over the last few years. • Awarded £5,000 of community grants. • Given six business grants. • Allocated £3,378 New Homes Bonus to Abberton parish, £5,550 to Stock and Bradley parish and £1,842 to Inkberrow parish. • Allocated £6,498 New Homes Bonus to Abbots Morton parish, some has been spent on village hall improvements. • Allocated £16,674 New Homes Bonus to Cookhill parish, some of this has been used for a community defibrillator • Allocated £25,482 New Homes Bonus to Hanbury parish, some of this has been spent on renovating the village hall and refurbishing a car park. • Allocated £10,752 New Homes Bonus to Rous Lench parish, some has been spent on the village hall and a speed sign. • Carried out 18 community safety visits and given 94 free security items to victims of crime. • Supported six community litter picks. • Completed a property flood protection scheme in Stock and Bradley. • Provided support to Hanbury Neighbourhood Plan Group. • Secured £159,245 of contributions from developers for leisure, formal sport and art, which benefits the local area. • Supported five Shindig shows and six W-Factor performances. • Run six-week sports taster sessions. • Supported community games at Cookhill and Inkberrow. • Allocated £17,808 New Homes Bonus to South Lenches parish, some has been spent on a speed sign, village hall lighting improvements and the war memorial. • Managed Hanbury Croft open space. • Supported the delivery of ten affordable homes. • 53 visits from the Youth Bus.
