| Letter from the CEO
As the world becomes more connected, Skyworks continues to play a critical role in meeting
consumers’ demand for always on connectivity. With the seemingly insatiable desire for data
– from e-commerce and advertising, to mobile payments and streaming content – many of the
fastest growing markets in the world today are seeing their growth enabled by Skyworks. At the
highest level, each day we are executing to our vision of connecting everyone and everything,
all the time.
In 2015, we surpassed $3.2B in revenue, while also achieving record income and profitability.
Yet enabling a connected world means much more to Skyworks than just financial success. It
means ensuring we are delivering sustainable solutions for today and tomorrow, and that we
are driving our Sustainability efforts across all of our business practices. We must continuously
innovate and reduce our footprint on the environment from manufacturing to our products’ end
of life. We must ensure our supply chain partners embrace fair business practices and programs
promoting transparency, worker wellness, and human rights. We must also work towards
implementing employee wellness, health and safety programs. And, we must connect with our
communities through local outreach efforts.
I am delighted to share that in 2015 we saw improvements across all major environmental
categories. Further, we realized reductions in key safety areas, and implemented far reaching
supply chain programs focusing our suppliers on greater transparency, worker wellness,
and human rights protections. Our employees also contributed and participated in various
fundraising and local relief efforts.
While we are proud of our many accomplishments thus far, we are committed to applying our
time, talents, and resources in the years ahead to continue fostering business growth that is
Sustainable. That is, meeting the needs of the present without compromising the ability of
future generations to meet their own.

Environment
Reducing the ecological footprint from our manufacturing activities is just one way we are enabling a connected world sustainably. While semiconductor manufacturing and assembly typically
demands significant use of environmental resources, Skyworks has been successful in decreasing our usage and generation rates both year-over-year and over the long term. These improvements
demonstrate our ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship.

The energy usage rate evaluates the total electricity and natural gas used at our
manufacturing locations per one thousand production units. Our ongoing facility
infrastructure improvements combined with higher production levels in existing factory
space, helped decrease energy usage rates and enhance manufacturing space efficiency.
The 14% year-over-year improvement realized in 2015 represents a savings of over 33 million
kWh – enough energy to power 2,100 households for one year.

Water usage rates, which measure the total factory consumption per one thousand production
units, were down for the 10th consecutive year. Ongoing manufacturing efficiency and factory
infrastructure enhancements have been the primary drivers for our reduced water usage. This
year’s 17% year-over-year reduction resulted in an estimated savings of over 51 million gallons of
water. That’s enough indoor water use for 351 families of four for an entire year. Given that our
three primary manufacturing locations exist in water-impacted locations, the savings is important
to preserve natural resources.

Hazardous waste reduction is measured by pounds per thousand production units. Through our
ongoing source reduction and material substitution efforts, we have been able to consistently
reduce our hazardous materials generation rate over the last four years. In 2015, our hazardous
waste generation rate was 33% lower than the previous year, resulting in the avoidance of
nearly one million pounds of hazardous waste.

Skyworks tracks its direct factory CO2 equivalent emissions (a.k.a. Scope 1), working to
reduce its outputs from the use of natural gas and perfluorocompounds (PFC). Given product
technology changes over the last year, we expected a modest increase in direct emissions in
2015. However, through ongoing manufacturing efficiency improvements, we actually achieved
a 1% year-over-year reduction in our emissions rate. This savings resulted in an equivalent
decrease of 389 U.S. tons of CO2 emissions, comparable to removing 75 passenger vehicles from
the road for one year. Additionally, we reduced our indirect (a.k.a. Scope 2) emissions from
off-site power generation facilities that generate the electricity we use, as part of our overall
energy efficiency improvements discussed in previous pages.

As an enabler of wireless technologies, Skyworks products are utilized in billions of consumer
products each year. We ensure our products adhere to strict international regulatory and
industry standards regarding hazardous materials content including Registration, Evaluation,
Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), Restriction of Hazardous Substances
(RoHS) and IEC 624742, among others. Skyworks devices also improve the efficiency of the
consumer products in which they operate. Take for example, one of Skyworks high band
power amplifiers whose efficiency is up significantly year-over-year to 43%, enabling longer
battery life and less frequent charging. Our customers can confidently utilize Skyworks as
their environmentally preferred wireless solutions provider.

Efforts to reduce municipal waste going to landfills include recycling programs at our sites.
While municipal recycling and recovery services vary depending on location, we do our part to
minimize waste wherever possible. Our 4% annual improvement realized in 2015 eliminated
an extra 100,000 lbs. of waste going to landfills. Since initiating our tracking of this category
three years ago, Skyworks has reduced its generation rate each year, achieving a cumulative
reduction of 7%.

Supply Chain
| Supplier Responsibility
Skyworks global supply chain affords us the opportunity to positively influence business
practices on a large scale, outside of our own facilities. Supplier requirements are outlined
within our Supplier Sustainability Specification, which aligns with the Electronics Industry
Citizenship Coalition® (EICC) Code of Conduct, requiring our suppliers to incorporate these
conditions as their own, while further establishing the Code as a minimum requirement across
their own supply chain. This includes the call for supply chain labor programs prohibiting child
labor and worker recruitment fees, establishing a maximum 60-hour workweek and much
more. Our Supplier Sustainability Specification is available on our website for our suppliers
and interested parties at:

Currently, 117 suppliers contribute direct materials to the development of our products. Our
commitment to promote sustainability extends throughout this supply chain and incorporates
a process of risk assessment and risk reduction.

03: Major suppliers are identified. These suppliers represent 80% of our expenditures,
and include all subcontractor assembly facilities and labor agencies (i.e., recruiting
companies).
04: All major suppliers complete an industry standardized Self-Assessment Questionnaire
(SAQ) developed and implemented by the EICC®. Risk rankings are identified based on
the SAQ scores.
05: Supplier facilities that are ranked as high risk, in addition to any others specifically
requested by Skyworks, must complete an on-site industry standard EICC® Validated
Audit Process (VAP). VAP is a third-party risk-based audit process where suppliers are
objectively evaluated and their sustainability performance is scored.
06: Suppliers initiate corrective action plans (CAPs) for any issues identified in the VAP.
Skyworks collaborates with its suppliers in tracking the CAPs to closure and further
provides assistance for capability building at our supplier locations as needed.

| Understanding Our Supply Chain
As a global organization, Skyworks designs, develops and manufactures products around the world – supported by an expansive supply chain network. Our supply chain partnerships provide
us with a unique opportunity to extend the reach of our Sustainability programs and affect hundreds of facilities and thousands of employees. Identified by region on the map below are the
19 subcontracted product assembly facilities and 98 finished goods materials suppliers that make up a major portion of our global supply chain.

| Conflict Minerals
In 2010, the United States federal government enacted the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform
and Consumer Protection Act which, among other things, addressed the humanitarian
goal of ending the violent conflicts and human rights abuses in the Democratic Republic
of the Congo (DRC) and surrounding areas that are funded by the exploitation and trade
of “conflict minerals” mined in that region. Since then, the United States Securities and
Exchange Commission (SEC) has enacted regulations requiring public companies using
Tantalum (Ta), Tin (Sn), Tungsten (W) or Gold (Au) in their products to evaluate their supply
chains. Companies subject to this SEC requirement must identify and report the sources of
the materials and drive towards a “conflict-free” supply chain. Skyworks has established
programs that regularly evaluate its supply chain, and requires its suppliers to do the same.
Since 2013, we have been publicly reporting on our conflict minerals program obligations, with
this in mind, Skyworks has SEC disclosures and conflict minerals reports for each reporting
year available on our website at:

In 2015, Skyworks identified all suppliers of conflict minerals in our supply chain, receiving
disclosures of the source smelters/refiners from 100% of our suppliers. Based on these selfdisclosures, we positively identified 143 smelters/refiners in our supply chain, and confirmed
all (100%) to be either Conflict-Free Smelter Program (CFSP)-compliant
(audited) or “active,” meaning they are actively engaged in having the audit
completed. The CFSP is an internationally recognized program developed by the
Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI), of which Skyworks is a member.

The safety of our employees is of utmost importance. Skyworks operates all facilities in a responsible manner, providing safe and healthy working conditions. In keeping with this commitment,
we maintain an Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management system to ensure we consistently:

In 2015, Skyworks health and safety performance in TRIR improved by 11% from the previous year. Our case rate of 1.2 is significantly below the industry average rate of 1.6 4. Furthermore, LTIR
showed a year-over-year improvement of 17%. Skyworks continues to use injury / illness data to strengthen risk control programs and build on a culture of safety. Skyworks’ risk control programs
focus on the identification, control, and reduction or elimination of risk. Employees are involved in all facets of the program (i.e., training, planning, investigation) to raise awareness and promote safe
work practices. Employees who have a better understanding of the hazards in their workplace are more able to contribute to the program and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all.

In 2015, Skyworks continued its active membership in the EICC®. The EICC® is a nonprofit coalition of electronics companies committed to
supporting the rights and well-being of workers and communities worldwide affected by the global electronics supply chain. EICC® members
commit and are held accountable to a common Code of Conduct and utilize a range of EICC® training and assessment tools to support
continuous improvement in the social, environmental, and ethical responsibility of their supply chains. Skyworks has been an active member
of the EICC® since 2011.
This year, Skyworks wafer fabrication facilities located in Woburn, MA, and Newbury Park, CA both successfully completed the EICC’s Validated Audit Process (VAP). VAP is a standardized third-party
audit compliant with the EICC® Code of Conduct. The standardization of the audit allows Skyworks to share audit results with many of our customers who are part of the EICC® and/or recognize the
VAP as a verification of existing and effective sustainability systems. With these latest validations complete, all Skyworks manufacturing facilities have now successfully completed the VAP.
Ethics
Skyworks is dedicated to conducting business that complies with both the letter and the spirit of
applicable laws, rules and regulations and consistent with the highest standards of business ethics.
Our sound business principles and practices foster our strong commitment to ethical behavior,
accountability and transparency.
At Skyworks, we strive to lead by example – guided by our corporate governance and principles as
defined in our Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. The Code outlines broad principles of ethical business
conduct embraced by Skyworks. In order to establish an effective ethics and compliance program and to
develop trust, employees must be able to raise concerns without fear of retaliation. Our employees have
a duty to report any known or suspected violation of the code, or of any rules or regulations applicable to
the Company. Employees are trained annually on the contents of the Code. In 2015, Skyworks achieved a
99% completion rate.

Studies of business practices clearly link employee strain from excessive working hours to
reduced productivity and increased turnover, injury and illness. Skyworks has programs
ensuring our factories comply with working hours restrictions applicable to each factory
location. Further, in the interest of employee wellness, our programs are designed to conform
to the EICC® Code of Conduct’s ≤60 hour workweek standard in electronics manufacturing.
In 2015, we worked to strengthen these programs by improving our visibility and tracking at
all of our factories globally. As a result, we made significant progress in controlling working
hours levels, exiting calendar year 2015 at a 98% conformance rate to the ≤60 hour workweek
standard. Refer to the ‘Supplier Responsibility’ section of this report for details on working
hours and other programs promoted throughout our supply chain.

Business Person of the Year
Fortune Magazine named David Aldrich, Skyworks’ Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, as one of their Business Person of the Year for 2015. Fortune’s annual ranking of
corporate leaders is based on financial results (revenue, profits, stock price, shareholder returns) over a one and three-year period, as well as other non-financial elements
such as business influence, leadership style and strategic initiatives.
Orange County Register Top Work Places
For the eighth consecutive year, Skyworks was named one of the top places to work by the Orange County Register. Skyworks ranked #22 amongst Midsize Companies
based on employee feedback on workplace environment and company leadership.
National Export Award
Skyworks received the Premio Nacional de Exportación (PNE) from Mexico in 2015. The PNE, or National Export Award, is one of four national awards given by Mexico’s
federal government recognizing companies, educational institutions and organizations whose efforts have contributed to strengthening Mexico’s competitiveness in

projects relevant to local efforts and are committed to investing their time, expertise and resources
to help develop and maintain vibrant, sustainable local communities. Skyworks and its employees are
proud to be members of the global community, lending a helping hand where possible.
Skyworks’ Woburn and Andover Employees Participate in Feaster Five Road Race
Skyworks sponsored and participated in the Feaster Five Road Race event in Andover, Massachusetts.
Employees from the Woburn and Andover offices raised money and took part in the 5 mile walk/run
event. Proceeds supported a variety of nonprofit organizations including the Merrimack Valley YMCA,
Bellesini Academy, Challenge Unlimited at Ironstone Farm and Merrimack Valley Striders organizations.
Cedar Rapids Employees Participate in “Bowl for Kids’ Sake”
A team of employees from Skyworks’ Cedar Rapids Design Center joined in the Big Brothers Big Sisters
“Bowl for Kids’ Sake” event. The “Skyrollers” took to the lanes and raised over $2,000 for Big Brothers
Big Sisters during the organization’s largest annual fundraising event. Funds raised go directly toward
matching children with caring Big Brother and Big Sister volunteers.
Skyworks and Employees Donate to Relief Efforts Supporting Victims of California Fires
After combining donations received from employees with a company contribution, over $4,000 was
donated to assist in the relief efforts for several Northern California communities impacted by wildfires
in 2015. The donations assisted affected families with food, supplies and temporary shelter.
Employees in Mexicali Support Food and Toy Drive
As part of its Annual Food and Toy Drive, employees from Mexicali collected and donated 731 baskets
of food, 596 toys, 550 blankets and 300 pairs of shoes to help people in need. Over 100 employees and
family members volunteered to pack, transport and deliver the goods to five of the most needy areas
of the city, including several orphanages and nursing homes. The recipients were extremely happy and
thankful for Skyworks’ generosity.
Skyworks Employees in Japan Participate in Cleanup Campaign
Employees from Skyworks Panasonic Filter Solutions in Japan participated in a cleanup effort
around the neighborhood surrounding the Kadoma facility. Volunteers collected trash ranging from
beverage cans to cigarette butts, leaves, weeds, and plastic bags in order to help beautify the area.
This is part of an ongoing effort to remove waste and improve recycling, and as well as contribute to
their local community.

Skyworks Sponsors American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life” Walk
Skyworks was a proud benefactor of the American Cancer Society’s “Relay for Life” fundraising event
in Woburn, Massachusetts. Skyworks employees raised over $14,000, which included a company
contribution. Employees walked to raise funds for cancer research and education, and to support
co-workers, family, friends and whose lives have been touched by cancer.

CS ManTech 2015
Skyworks sponsored the CS ManTech Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, which had one of its highest
attendance rates. CS ManTech is a nonprofit organization whose focus is to provide a forum for
members of the compound semiconductor community to exchange and discuss new ideas to better
serve the public in general. Several Skyworks engineers presented technical papers and Skyworks
received the best paper for “GaAs Wafer Breakage Reduction” authored by Bruce Darley, Manjeet Singh,
Ernesto Ambrozio, Patrick Santos and Shiban Tiku of Newbury Park, CA.
IEEE RFIC 2015
Skyworks was a “Silver” sponsor of the IEEE Radio Frequency Integrated Circuits Symposium in
Phoenix, Arizona. Over 550 exhibitors attended, representing a broad spectrum of RF and microwave
products and services such as materials, technologies, components and subsystems, as well as RF IC
design and simulation software, measurement and fabrication equipment. Several Skyworks engineers
presented technical papers on relevant industry topics.
National Engineers Week
Skyworks supported “National Engineers Week” at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and
Library in California, providing a donation and resources for the occasion. The event, which celebrates
engineers and raises awareness about their positive contributions to society, was attended by several
engineers from Skyworks’ Newbury Park office. Skyworks employee Elena Woodard also led the Teacher
of the Year Committee and presented the Teacher of the Year award to Lisa Lewis in recognition of
her dedication and support of students pursuing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM).
