THE WEDDING EXPERIENCE
Following an extensive refurbishent in 2015 by celebrated designer
Martin Brudnizki, neighbourhood favourite Daphne’s continues to
be a beacon of the Chelsea restaurant scene, nestling amongst the
beautiful Brompton Cross and Walton Street boutiques.
The restaurant, bar and conservatory (private room) are vibrant and
inviting and have been designed with venetian colour palettes firmly in
mind. Daphne’s maintains its effortless charm and familiarity, which
have made is so popular amongst the residents of Chelsea and further
afield.
Fully-licensed for weddings and civil partnerships, Daphne’s is an
intimate and private venue, perfect for both ceremonies and receptions
for up to 60 people, and up to 50 for a canapé reception.
Whether planning a morning wedding and lunch, or an evening
ceremony followed by dinner, Daphne’s offers a bespoke service to
fulfill and surpass expectations. The team will take pressure off couples
by organising every last detail in a creative, calm and professional
manner. Daphne’s has a list of trusted suppliers including musical
performers, calligraphers, florists and production specialists to create a
unique experience for your special day.
THE CONSERVATORY AT DAPHNE’S
In summer, the bright conservatory creates an alfresco feel; in winter a blazing fire
in the open range turns it into an intimate retreat. The conservatory seats up to
60 guests theatre-style for the marriage ceremony, and may be transformed after
the ceremony into a space for drinking and dancing.
THE RECEPTION
No-one knows how to throw a party like the Italians and at Daphne’s, the attention to detail
is second to none. The signature cocktail, the Bellini – created in the ‘30s by Giuseppe
Cipriani of Harry’s Bar Venice fame – is a perennial favourite, or choose from the classic
Champagne or Prosecco reception. Our barmen possess creativity and practicality in
equal measures – it’s important to get the balance right for any discerning bride or groom.
The canapé menu has been created by Head Chef, Michael Brown.

THE MENU
Food is a crucial ingredient of any wedding, and guests are more discerning
than ever before. This is why Daphne’s Head Chef, Michael Brown, whose
career has led him from Michelin-starred The Walnut Tree in Abergavenny
to Daphne’s, has gone to great lengths to create well-balanced, imaginative
menus with impeccably-sourced Italian seasonal produce to suit the couple’s
requirements. He works closely with every bride and groom to ensure that
they are not simply reassured, but positively delighted with the menus. All
dietary requirements are, of course taken on board. Daphne’s Head Pastry
Chef can either recommend a traditional wedding cake supplier, or can create
bespoke Italian-style cakes to order.

• Service charge 12.5%
• In summer, the roof is retractable. In winter, a blazing fire in the open
brick hearth turns it into an intimate retreat.
• Menu cards can be printed and fashioned to your requirements, and
complimentary place cards are provided
• Complimentary candles are supplied for your event
• An iPod docking station is available for your own use or other acoustic
musical entertainment can be arranged
• We do not have the facilities for DJs or dancing
• AV equipment can be hired as required
