Summary
The Total Rewards Administrator provides support to employees on the following benefits programs:
medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 403B, wellness program etc. Compiles and maintains accurate
benefits files. Audits records for accuracy and data quality. Handles any benefit plan data entry,
mailings, and record keeping. Demonstrates behaviors consistent with Goodwill’s Mission, Vision,
Values, 5 Basic Principles and Standards of Conduct.
Education

Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
Qualifications









Minimum 2-3 years of benefits related experience including knowledge of: FMLA, COBRA,
403B, Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work well with systems and ensure data quality
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Gmail
Experience with vendor benefit enrollment, payroll, HRIS systems, and databases
Ability to embrace change positively
Strong organizational skills, high level of skill in detail orientation and transaction
management
Passion for accuracy
Bi-lingual in English and Spanish highly preferred
Duties









Enter, process, and update data as it affects benefits for all status changes.
Assemble and maintain complete and accurate paper and online benefits files.
Create benefits communications and issue benefit plan identification packets as
necessary.
Generate reports to determine health plan premiums due by employees on
leave.
Regularly review employees’ full time/part time status to determine change in
benefits eligibility.
Provide vendors appropriate documentation for life, retirement, and disability
benefit claims.
Process 403B hardship withdrawals and loans.
Ensure compliance with record retention laws. Coordinate purging of inactive employee
benefit files.
Run monthly eligibility report for benefits and schedule new hire meetings.






Track all benefit eligible employees in HRIS system and send notification to managers when
necessary.
Track employee benefits and send benefits termination letters notifying of coverage end dates.
Perform data entry into all appropriate databases.
Assist with annual enrollment and track updates and distribution of benefits manual.
Provide back up support and assistance to the Benefits, Compensation and Wellness Team.
Manage documentation related to bonus programs.
