needs of families of deployed military
personnel who live far from a military
installation and require access to child

GIVING BACK AND PROVIDING SUPPORT TO OUR NEIGHBORS
SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY
The Y has been listening and responding to our communities’ most critical social needs
for 160 years. Whether developing skills or emotional well-being through education and
training, welcoming and connecting diverse demographic populations through global
services, or preventing chronic disease and building healthier communities through
collaborations with policymakers, the Y fosters the care and respect all people need and
deserve.
YMCA financial assistance
fund
When you give to the Y you continue to
strengthen our community and move us
forward as the nation’s leading nonprofit for
youth development, healthy living and social
responsibility.
Each and every day we focus on being there
when our friends and neighbors need us the
most. We rely on the generosity of our
neighbors and community to help people of all
ages and from all walks of life use the YMCA
and its programs regardless of their ability to
pay. When you give to the Y your gift has a
meaningful, enduring impact right in your own
neighborhood.
The Y is and always will
be dedicated to
building healthy,
confident, connected
and secure children,
adults, families and
communities. Every
day our impact is
felt when an
individual makes a
healthy choice,
when a mentor
inspires a child and
when a community
comes together for
the common good.
The YMCA is a 501(c)(3) charitable
organization. Financial Assistance is available
through donor support. Once a year, we hold a
campaign that raises the funds from our
members and community to help support our

Aging generates new opportunities to
reinvent ourselves and contribute to our
community. Join us for discussion and group
coaching around these five aspects of
graceful living.
Giving - giving can take many different
forms...are there ways we can extend our
impact on the world and create a legacy of
caring and generosity?
Reflection - how can our internal life be
enriched through activities involving nature,
art, or spirituality?
Achievement – learning, growth, and
mastery can happen at any stage of
life...what achievements, however small,
could give us a sense of pride and
satisfaction?
Connection - we all need a sense of
belonging...are there ways we can deepen or
broaden our network of relationships?
Energy - what supports us in having the
physical energy to pursue our daily
activities?
