THE NEXT GENERATION OF WONDER
In 2015, WonderLab welcomed its one-millionth visitor to the museum, an achievement
made possible through the support of community members such as you. Thank you for
helping us reach this incredible milestone!
As you read through this report, WonderLab is working on “The Next Generation of Wonder,” a
road map that will guide how the museum serves its next million visitors. This plan will
include new and improved gallery space and exhibits with more hands-on science
experiences for visitors of all ages. The first major upgrade to the museum galleries will be the
installation of a new coral reef aquarium in 2017. This interactive exhibit will allow visitors to
delve deeper into the science and wonder of an amazing coral reef for many years to come.
Other planned improvements include installation of digital signage in the museum entryway.
This will facilitate improved communication of upcoming events and programs, as well as
donor and sponsor recognition.

VISITOR REVIEWS
WonderLab consistently receives great reviews from its visitors.
Below are some online reviews from 2015.
APRIL 2015
a fun, educational spot to spend an hour or two (or more) with children! A huge

activities, water play, music, science, and more. A great place to invest in a yearly pass for
many visits!

have three young grandchildren, and they love this museum. We first took them at ages

4, 3, and 2. We have since returned at their request. Some exhibits had changed, and the
boys had a great time seeing new things and also revisiting some of the same ones. It is a
wonderful learning experience with lots of hands-on educational activities. I envision many
more trips with the boys in the future to “Wonderland”, which is what one of the children
called the museum before he could pronounce the name properly.
”
DECEMBER 2015
WonderLab is an amazing place, its a place where children can come and run around.
“ The
There is a lot of fun thing you can do at the WonderLab, and if you hungry after all that and
you want something to eat. There is a lot of places to go eat around WonderLab. So, if you’re
a parent and you want a place where you want your kid to get there energy out, go to
WonderLab. WonderLab is also affordable. I’m a kid too.

went to WonderLab with our 13 year-old

grandaughter. What a surprise! Lots of demonstrations
of physics, biology, a climbing section, live animal
displays...they had it all. The rooms were well used but
no sense of crowding or too much noise. Each exhibit
had an attraction of both “doing” and “learning,”
appropriate to various age levels. The gift shop had a
wide range ofeducational books and items. A nice way
to spend an afternoon or morning.
