Eagle Valley Senior Life provides programs and resources to help older adults continue to live independently and thrive in the Valley. Our senior residents are seeking to age in place and EVSL can help! EVSL Senior Spot Mondays & Thursdays 1:00 – 4:00 pm The Senior Spot offers a place for individuals 55 and older to connect with others and engage in fun, meaningful, and safe activities. The program is designed to promote emotional and cognitive abilities for a better quality of life. The Senior Spot also offers a respite opportunity for caregivers. Activities include crafts, cooking, music, brain games and fitness. For more information, contact Wendy Miller 970-331-5355. Eagle River Presbyterian Church 455 Nottingham Ranch Rd, Avon EVSL Move to Music Fitness Thursdays, 1:30 – 2:15 pm Eagle River Presbyterian Church Limber up your joints, build strength and endurance, improve your balance, stretch and flex while you move with music and have fun! Reservations must be made 24 hrs in advance. Home Delivered Meals: Home-delivered meals 2x/each week to homebound adults over the age of 60 and disabled adults over the age of 18 at all Eagle County Senior lunch sites. Health and Wellness: The Healthy Aging program supports fitness classes throughout Eagle County. Most classes request a small fee or voluntary donation for those 60 and older.
