* These rooms are in the Royal Service section which has private beach, restaurant, and a
butler with a cell phone so you can call at all times. Royal Service is Adult Only.
Additional nights can be arranged three nights prior and three nights post
Royal Service: $285 pp per night in a shared room and $450 per night for a single; Add $30 per
person per night for Ocean View.
** At the moment Mexico has not insisted on a VAT tax for visitors. If it changes, we will need to
add that to pricing.
Note: Citizens from Mexico will need to pay an added 11% VAT
Fine Print: Our contract with the resort says we must tell you that there is not tax as stated by the
current Mexican government, but if that change, we will have to add that.
ARRIVAL TIME
Please arrive in Cancun airport (CUN) on Dec. 28 between 9 am- 3 pm. We will have shuttles
picking you up at the airport and taking you to the hotel. The ride is approximately 15
minutes to the hotel.
We will still greet and pick up arrivals at other times, but if you are coming in at a time
when the shuttle may not be a private one and will most likely make stops at other hotels.
Check in time is not until 3 pm. Or you can pay the additional $15
We will have our first group gathering around 4 pm that day, so earlier flights are
recommended.
IMPORTANT: For those arriving earlier than Dec 28th and/or leaving after Jan 1st,
transportation to and from the airport is an additional $15 supplement each way (possibly
less depending on numbers). We anticipate a number of people extending their trip on
either or both ends and we will do our best to keep you apprised of this so you can
anticipate any additional cost and coordinate and arrange travel in advance

Check out time is noon.
Our main shuttles will be departing on Jan. 1 for flights between noon and 7 pm. Early am
flights on the first may incur an additional charge if you are the only one, but other than
that, alternate departures other than early am on Jan. 1 can be met but, as stated above the
shuttle may make additional stops at other hotels. We will be out late on Dec. 31st, so if you
want to sleep in a bit, it’s best to make your return home later (or stay an extra day).
IMPORTANT: For those arriving earlier than Dec 28th and/or leaving after Jan 1st,

You can be as active as you’d like or hang back at the pool or beach. We have various activities for you
to partake in throughout the day with others such as a soccer game or tennis tournaments.

We have some great group activities planned. New Year’s Eve we will be part of the hotel’s gala
dinner with either a live band or DJ or we’ll head out to Cancun. Final decision will be made as the
hotel and outside venues secure their plans.

Our hotel is right in the heart of some of the most amazing activities. From a trip just to see a
gorgeous beach, kite boarding lessons, Mayan culture and ruins, cenotes, snorkel with turtles, ziplines
in the jungle, eco-parks, cooking classes, horseback riding to massages on the beach and day spas.
Listed below are a few excursions you can use your resort credit for, followed by other excursions
that are awesome! We’ll be taking a survey to see which ones to turn into custom group trips.

Find the Mayan mystic in our cultural tour of Tulum, visiting the most fascinating ruins built along the
ocean side. The only known Mayan City built alongside the setting sun and is magnificently situated
high atop a cliff overlooking the crystal-blue Caribbean Sea and its surrounding jungle.
Chichen Itza One of the new "7 wonders of the world", is a cultural site of the Mayan. A long day
from the coast. Chichén Itzá, the ancient city whose name means "in the mouth at the Itzáe's Well",
was in its time of grandeur (between 800 and 1200 A.D.), the centre of political, religious and military
power in Yucatán, if not all of South-eastern Meso America. Chichén Itzá is located 125 miles West of
Cancun about 2:15 hrs. It is the most visited archaeological site on the Peninsula, famed for its
extraordinary architecture beauty.
Xcaret: Located 44 miles South of Cancun, Xcaret was for more than ten centuries one of the most
important Mayan ceremonial centers and seaports. Today, it is an incredible eco-archaeological park
where you can spend a marvelous day. Come and enjoy the underground rivers, dolphins, beach,
lagoon & inlet, diving & snorkeling, horses, coral reef aquarium, museum, botanical garden, orchid

The live music venues in Cancun offer anything you like from jazz to rock to salsa. You can try out The

Passport /Visa
Info:
The U.S. Embassy requires that U.S. citizens entering Mexico possess a valid U.S. passport
with an expiration date beyond six months of the date of travel.
Upon arrival in Mexico you will need to produce an up to date passport plus a visitor’s permit which is
now known as the FMM “Forma Migratoria Multiple”. This form is provided free of charge by your
travel agent, airline or at point of entry. As before, passport holders from countries on Mexico’s no
visa required list do not need to apply for a formal visa to visit Mexico. If you’re visiting Mexico from
the US or Canada, this applies to you.
The immigration officer at passport control may also ask you to prove the necessary economic means
and a return ticket to your country.
Immigration will check your documents and stamp and process the form, handing you back the righthand portion, which you must keep and surrender when you leave Mexico. If you lose this form, you
will have to go to the immigration desk at the airport and may have to pay a fine for another one, so it
is best to attach it to your passport so it cannot be misplaced.

Cancellation
policy:
The following cancellation policies apply regardless of when you registered, even for personal
emergencies. Nor is there a refund for leaving a tour early or arriving late. The cancellation policy is
based on the money that was due and not the money that Steppin' Out has in hand and you are still
obligated to pay the balance due. For example, if you signed up for a trip and only gave a deposit,
and then didn't cancel until 80 days prior, you would owe Steppin' Out 50% of the full trip cost.

group tickets or other items in the package are issued by Steppin’ Out only as an agent for such
companies furnishing such services. Neither they nor their subagents shall be held liable for loss or
damage to property or injury to person caused by reason of any defect by any transportation
company, lodging company, car company, resort, agent or any service/item in the package outside
their direct control. Steppin’ Out reserves the right to make changes and alterations in the itinerary
that are found necessary for proper handling of tours. In such an event, substitute services or equal or
greater value will be furnished, or refunded, but the alternate services will still fall under the liability

PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT, RELEASE AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK
In consideration of the services of Steppin’ Out, Ltd., their agents, owners, officers, volunteers, participants, employees, contractors and all
other persons or entities acting in any capacity on their behalf (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Steppin Out”), I hereby agree to
release and discharge Steppin’ Out on behalf of myself, my children, my parents, my heirs, assigns, personal representative and estate as
follows:
I acknowledge that EVENT: _______________on the following dates: _____________entails known and unanticipated risks which could
result in physical or emotional injury, paralysis, death or damage to myself, to property, or to third parties. I understand that such risks simply
cannot be eliminated without jeopardizing the essential qualities of the activity.
Furthermore, Steppin’ Out guides have difficult jobs to perform. They seek safety, but are not infallible. They might be ignorant of a
participant’s fitness or abilities. They might misjudge the weather, the elements, or the terrain. They may give inadequate warnings or
instructions, and the equipment being used might malfunction.

I expressly agree and promise to accept and assume all risks existing in this activity. My participation in this activity is purely voluntary,
and I elect to participate in spite of the risks.

I hereby release, forever discharge, and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Steppin’ Out from any and all claims, demands, or causes
of action, which are in any way connected with my participation in this activity or my use of Steppin’ Out’s equipment or facilities,
including any such Claims which allege negligent acts or omissions of Steppin’ Out.

Should Steppin’ Out or anyone acting on their behalf, be required to incur attorney’s fees and cost to enforce this agreement, I agree to
indemnify and hold them harmless for all such fees and costs.
I certify that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage I may cause or suffer while participating, or else I agree to bear
the costs of such injury or damage myself. I certify that I have no medical or physical conditions which could interfere with my safety in
this activity, or else I am willing to assume - and bear the cost of - all risks that may be created, directly or indirectly, by any such
condition.
By signing this document, I acknowledge that if anyone is hurt or property is damaged during my participation in this activity, I may be found
by a court to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against Steppin’ Out on the basis of any claim from which I have released them
herein. I agree that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portion shall remain in full force and
effect.
On behalf of my heirs, my administrators, and myself, I hereby assume any and all risks which might be associated with the Steppin' Out
Event for which I am registering.. I waive and release all rights and claims of any kind (and I agree to take no legal action with respect
thereto) that I may have against the or organizers, including without limitation, Steppin' Out Ltd and all others connected with this event or
their representatives, successors, and assigns, for any and all injuries or damages of any kind whatsoever suffered by me as a result of taking
part in the event and related activities. I grant full permission for sponsor or organizers and their agents to use photographs or video of me in
accounts and promotions of this event.
I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document. I have read and understood it, and I agree to be bound by its terms.
