The Junior Modified got off with Bradley and Shelby getting together coming out of turn four, going into the infield. Again in the feature Bradley and Shelby see-sawed for first place and coming out of the jf4.turn (Heading for the finish line) they got together again each hitti ng the rail in front of the stands.Ron Taylor and BilI Bottoms seem to have the only bad accident of the night when they got together on Lhe ff2 turn and went through the raiI, both escaping injury. L There was some fender bending going on in the llobby Stock feature r*ith hrilliam Clark #76, Louis Holland ll20 and H.C. Pierce, #92 all getting into the action. In the Super N{odified feature Elvin Tennant was going great guns until the 12th lap when he was passed by Tom Hiner, rn the lJth lap, Tenn&ntrs car caught on fire and he had to puIl to the infield where things were getting a little warm.
