Dear New Friend, I am so excited to hear that you are in my class

Dear New Friend,
I am so excited to hear that you
are in my class this year! I can’t
wait to meet you! I hope you
bring your smile the first day.
Smiles make me feel GREAT and
I am a little nervous about
meeting all of my new friends!
Let me tell you a little bit about
myself. My name is Mrs. Kegler
and I have two children, Jordan
who is fifteen and Kenley who is
thirteen. I love sunflowers and
sea turtles. I LOVE to read
books to children and listen to
children read to me! When you
come to visit, tell me what you
love and are interested in. You
can even bring in your favorite
book the first day if you would
like to.
I am not sure when I will be
getting our classroom ready in
August. The people who love
you at home can call the office
to see if I am there.
I can’t wait! I hope you are as
excited as I am!
