May 14th 2011 held the 4th BBQ fundraiser at the Four F Foundation. Over a 150
people attended the event. There was
great food, a live and silent auction and
dancing.

Even the dogs attended the party.
On August 27, 2011 the winning
ticket was drawn at Ag Power in
Tyler. The winning ticket holder
was Chuck Cowan from Tyler.

Ben’s Corner
The Four F Foundation has
been in Lindale for many
years, however, not many
people knew the animal sanctuary was in their area.
This year the board of directors wanted to get our name
out into the community.
To do that there had to be
change. So change we did!
We added 3 new people to
the board of directors, we
updated out logo on our
Stationary and built a get
acquainted room for our
dogs and cats. With the
help of Helen Mar the cat
area got a new facelift and a
play area. More dog runs
were built to help our 80+
dogs have more room.
A membership program was
started. See page 3 for details. We have had 2 successful fundraisers and we
are publishing our
first
newsletter.
Our biggest hope is to partner with local businesses to
help save the dogs and cats
that get thrown away in the
country.

We are going out into the
community to talk about the
shelter. So if you need speakers, please call on us. We
only ask for items on our
Wish List. We appreciate
your donations.

& vaccinated. She guards
people from other dogs only. She loves her toys. She
is calm, affectionate and
loves people.
Baby Girl 2 1/2 Female—
Spayed & vaccinated . Very
affectionate & knows commands. She is all about
pleasing you. Do you have a
place for Baby Girl?
Good News! I was Adopted
Molly—has apparently hit
the jackpot—allows her new
owner to share “his” bed
Baby Girl—our “smiling”
darling has a whole family
to smile at now
Fred—has found a very happy, loving home with wonderfully ambitious young
children.
The children's
mother reports that the boys
will get up early before
school to exercise Fred. We
have no doubt that Fred has
found his forever family.
Socks— has found a great
family. They wanted a young
energetic dog who is loving
and devoted. They got that
and more with Socks.
Chico—who is now Sammy,
has also found love. Great
family who loved him at first
sight.
PeeWee—found a home out
of town. His family traveled
to us to find this terrific pup.
He too has found love,.
Daisy—beautiful German
Sheppard has a young almost
as beautiful new owner
Lefty—great energetic 10 wk
old found a lovely lady willing to love him.
