The Spray Zones (from left to right): · Bodyzone is the 20 x 20-inch outermost showerhead zone · Rainzone is the air-injected 10 x 10-inch central showerhead zone · Laminar spray is a powerful 3 ⁄4" diameter, non-aerated stream in the very center · A combination of spray zones (always comply with your local plumbing codes) The Shower Module as a Showerhead Multiple Shower Modules can be configured into an overhead shower by mounting them adjacently or in a custom pattern. Axor ShowerCollection The Showerheads · 10 x 10-inch size is perfect for any shower installation · Two versions are available: Ceiling-mounted (requires 10" Ceiling Showerarm), or wall-mounted with an integrated showerarm. · Easy cleaning: The sprayface can be detached for cleaning The Tub Spout · Luxurious waterfall spray · Integrated shelf for storing bath accessories 08 09 The Shower Module as a Body Shower · With three different vertical settings, the water jets can be easily directed towards specific parts of your body (e.g. neck, shoulders, body or thighs) and adjusted for different body sizes · If rotated by 90° when installed, the spray settings can be adjusted horizontally instead of vertically. So the jets can either cover a larger area, or converge at a certain point. The following illustrations show possible ideas for the concept of your personal well-being zone. For All Sizes: The Shower Module is worked into an adjustable metal escutcheon. A simple sliding motion will change the jet angle of the shower. This example shows the installation with the jets at a vertical adjustment. Depending on the user's needs and body height, this can easily be adjusted. Light, sound Showers Function Showers Light Sensual Arrangement for Body and Mind! The Light Modules ensure a mood-pleasing lighting of the shower. Ideally, these are arranged close to the ceiling or close to the floor. The Speaker Modules are also at head level. The shower and temperature control are always within reach. Larger Areas or One Point: If the Shower Module is rotated by 90° during the installation, the water jets can be adjusted horizontally. This is useful when the Shower Modules are installed in a corner. By altering the angle, the jets either hit a certain point or a larger area of the body. The Leading Shower System for Your Wellbeing: All functions of the controls are arranged vertically. Shelves are arranged on a horizontal level, providing immediate access to shower supplies. The body showers are also arranged horizontally, one pair each for the neck and the back, as well as at the height of the thighs. Showerhead on Demand: When installed in the ceiling, the Shower Module becomes a showerhead. The connection of several modules to each other creates a larger showerhead area. The combination of the controls and fittings lets you assign the jets as desired. Axor ShowerCollection Inspirations for Creative Showering Solutions With the endless possible combinations that the Axor ShowerCollection has to offer, individual requirements can be realized in a creative manner. The following installation inspirations show how space and function, design and architecture, always work together. Sitting Down Relaxed: The seating area integrated in this shower is equipped with neck and back massaging jets. The lower Shower Modules provide a loosening calf massage. For a refreshing rain shower, stand up and let the Showerhead spoil you. The laminar spray of the Handshower Module can be used for water therapy applications. 1 2 3 34 35 Simply Logical: All shower functions are logically controlled by the centrally-located Thermostatic Module. The upper Volume Control controls the Showerhead (1). Below it is the control for the upper body shower (2). The third valve regulates the two lower body showers (3). For Large Solutions: The Axor Starck ShowerCollection also lets you realize elaborate solutions for any type of wellness area. Its balanced symmetry is shown in this example, where two showers are combined into one unit. The controls are arranged side by side for each respective shower. Switch on. Step in. Relax! The Thermostatic Module is located in the entrance area of the shower. Thus, the correct shower temperature can simply be adjusted from the outside — even with the water running and without getting wet. The separately controlled Handshower Module is installed on the side. Showering in the Bathtub. With the addition of the Tub Spout, Axor ShowerCollection is well-suited for bathtub solutions. The individual elements of the collection can be easily integrated into bathtub concepts. Practical and elegant, the Thermostatic Module is used to adjust the correct bath temperature. Note: Observe installation guidelines. Axor ShowerCollection the INSTALLATIONS The Modular Installation Principle The modular system evident in the positioning of the trims is complemented by an equally well-considered installation system behind the wall. The unique mounting system for the roughs, plus several installation aids are available to ensure precise spacing between modules. These enable the individual modules to be installed accurately in a perfect line. · Roughs can be easily inserted into each other · Trims are installed using consistent 1 ⁄ 2" spacing · No distortion or detaching of the roughs — thanks to roll pins · Optimal flow of water inside the roughs Axor ShowerCollection 36 37 Axor ShowerCollection the INSTALLATIONS Mixing Valves/Shower Modules/Accessories Installation in a Vertical Line 01 Below we explain how to install the Mixing Valves, Shower Modules and the accessories from Planning Example 1 in a vertical line. To install the ShowerHeaven, you need a suspended intermediate ceiling. The frame of the ShowerHeaven can be installed in the pre-construction phase. Prior to installation, the ShowerHeaven must be disassembled. The cylinder screws must be loosened and the four bearing bolts must be pulled out. The dimensions of the ceiling connections must be 7" from the center of the ShowerHeaven. Hold the frame to the desired ceiling location and align accordingly. Mark the boring placement. 02 03 Drill the borings with a diameter of 5 ⁄16". Every boring has to be fitted with a dowel. Screw in the hanger bolts and attach the frame to the ceiling using washers and nuts (SW 1 ⁄ 2"). Screw in the T-pieces and angle cleats. Install the functional unit using bearing bolts and cylinder screws. 04 05 Connect the equipotential bonding and the ground to the frame. Secure the functional unit to the long carabine hook. Screw the pressure hoses to the ceiling connectors. Note: Installation information provided in this brochure is intended as a general aid for bathroom planning only.
