BIO Sheikh Fahad bin Abdullah Al Thani is first cousin to the Emir of the state of Qatar, while his father Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani was prime minister of the country between 1996 and 2007. Sheikh Fahad studied for his A-Levels at David Game College in Notting Hill, London, before completing a three-year BBA in Business Administration on the London campus of the Geneva-based Europa University. He decided to take an interest in horse racing in 2010, and employed bloodstock agent David Redvers as his adviser. Sheikh Fahad, 24, is a director of Qatar Investments & Projects Development Holding (QIPCO), which is one of the world’s leading private investment companies and the current sponsor of the QIPCO British Champions Series and an Official Partner at Ascot Racecourse. He oversees the running of the racing and bloodstock operations, Qatar Racing and Qatar Bloodstock, both subsidiaries of QIPCO Holding, along with Pearl Bloodstock, which is solely his. Combined, Qatar Racing and Pearl Bloodstock have over 200 horses in training in seven different countries. Qatar Bloodstock stands three stallions and owns around 80 mares. Antony Audenshaw is an English actor, best known for his role as Bob Hope on the popular ITV1 soap Emmerdale. His Emmerdale debut was in 2000 and he has been a cast member ever since. The former Modern Pentathlon Athlete, Team GB horse rider and recent mother now runs her own Architectural Practice in London Guy, Amy Alex usually features on Sky Sports News' "Good Morning Sports Fans" schedule, from 6.00am to 10.00am, where she provides an extended covering of recent horse racing events, as well as a Tip of the Day. She covers the role of a track reporter for the At the Races channel. She has also presented Sky Sports' coverage of the Horse of the Year Show. She has an online blog column on the Sky Sports website, primarily focused on horse racing. Kenyatta, Margaret (First Lady of Kenya) LLR Knott, Andy Dervis is a four time Paralympic medallist, who has won a total of 35 major international medals during a 12-year career. At the age of nine, Dervis was diagnosed with a life changing eye condition called Macular Dystrophy Stargardt’s, which meant he was losing his central vision in both eyes. In defiance of this news, Dervis set out to prove that his disability would not stand in the way of success. This success was to be found in swimming. To date, Dervis has represented Great Britain at four Paralympic Games, three World Championships and four European Champions. Patrick Monahan started off on the glamorous Irish/Iranian/Geordie circuit in his native home land of the north east of England before being invited to perform all over the world from as far away as the Adelaide Fringe Comedy festival 2011 in Australia, to Dubai, Doha, Abu Dhabi, Barbados, St Lucia, St Vincent, Spain, France, Luxembourg, Estonia, Ireland, Germany, to the Edinburgh International Festival and various venues and comedy clubs up and down the UK, including the Royal Albert Hall in London! Patrick has more recently appeared on ITV’s Splash. Monahan, Patrick Lewis Walton Moody MBE (born 12 June 1978 in Ascot) is a retired English rugby union player who played most recently for Bath Rugby Club and was part of the 2003 World Cup winning side. Moody is known for the enthusiasm with which he plays the game, his willingness to chase down opponents and his ability to compete for possession at restarts, earning him the nickname "Mad Dog" from teammates and supporters. Moody, Lewis Moore was born in 1943 and his early TV Appearances were in the first series of "The Likely Lads". He has also appeared in McCallum, Band of Gold and Emmerdale to name but a few. Moore spent 10 years with the Royal Shakespeare Company appearing in 'As You Like It' and 'A Midsummer's Night Dream'. He is also a keen Burnley FC Supporter and long term supporter of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. Moore, Richard Darryl Morris hosts The Hits Radio Breakfast Show every weekday morning. A rapid rise up the ranks at BBC Radio Manchester followed with Darryl working alongside some broadcasting greats and fronting the station’s weekday evening show. He was part of the Wigan Team that dominated Rugby League and made the team of the decade. Terry is a Sky Rugby League Commentator and pundit on the weekly Boots n All pundit. O'Connor, Terry Miquita began her career co-presenting Popworld with Simon Amstell; a music show which reached iconic status. She is now in her twelfth year on our screens. Best known for her work on T4, Miquita is a skilled and respected broadcaster. Most recently Miquita fronted a very personal BBC3 documentary Young, British and Broke where she goes undercover to find out the truth about Britain's most controversial type of borrowing and meets people whose loans have spiralled out of control, sometimes with devastating results. Redvers, David Glasgow-based Producer Lewis Roberts, aka Koreless, creates sci-fi-inspired ambient tracks. Roberts, Lewis Roukin has an extensive background in British theatre including roles in Trevor Nunn's "hamlet" at The Old Vic, Bijan Shebani's "The Kitchen" at the National Theatre. Samuel also spent a season aThe Royal Shakespeare Co. In the lead role of 'Pip' in "Great Expectations". Roukin's feature debut came along in the Oscar-nominated film "Happy Go Lucky". Keith Senior is a rugby league legend, recently retired from the professional game, who most recently played for the Leeds Rhinos in Super League. Keith has represented both Great Britain & England at International level on 43 occasions and has been named in the 'Rugby League World XIII' on three occasions. He has won every honour in the English domestic game. Keith holds the record for the most Super League appearances and has made 560 career appearances & until 2012 held the record for the most Super League tries. Keith released his biography ‘The Bald Truth’ in 2011. Keith now represents the Leeds Rhinos and the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust at public events and is part of the Leeds Rhinos Rugby Foundation team which is also a charity. Savage, Martin The Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust Senior, Keith Lucy Siegle is a broadcaster and journalist best known as a longstanding member of The One Show team. She has fronted hundreds of films since the show began 7 years ago, from the recent floods to hovercraft racing and the darkside of Ibiza's party scene. She was once forced to dive from a 10m board for Children in Need. She is a well known journalist and an Observer columnist on environmental justice and author of To Die For: is fashion wearing out the world? an investigation into the global wardrobe, longlisted for the Orwell Prize. She is Visiting Professor to London College of Fashion. Fitness: a former aerobics instructor, she only began running in January 2013, completing her first Half Marathon at the Eden Project, Cornwall in October 2013. This is her first full marathon. Chris Simmons is an English actor who is best known for playing DC Mickey Webb in The Bill. He has guest starred in Casualty and Doctors. He was originally made famous by appearing on the ITV series, Desperately Seeking Stardom, in which, a group of would-be actors were sent to Hollywood to try to find acting roles. In October 2011 he appeared in EastEnders as Mark Garland, a love interest for Kat Moon, for a few episodes. He has since made a guest appearance in the Tracy Beaker spin-off CBBC show, 'The Dumping Ground': In episode 8 of series 1; entitled 'Dreamland' he played the father to Rick Barber, Gerry. Helen Skelton made her name as the dare devil Blue Peter presenter until her departure into the world of "grown up" TV in August 2013. She is now the ongoing co-presenter of Holiday Hit Squad, returning to BBC1 with a second series in the New Year. She regularly contributes to both Countryfile and Inspire: The Olympic Journey, also on BBC1. With such an active background it was inevitable she would become more involved with sports presenting and at it's launch in 2013 she was announced as the regular face of the Conference League and Women’s Football on BT Sport. He is best known for playing the title role in the 2006 film Eragon, as well as starring in Golden Globe and Emmy-award winning TV show Downton Abbey. Speleers, Ed In 1984 Stark won a silver medal in eventing in the Olympic Games, which were held in Los Angeles. In 2000 Stark won a silver team medal for eventing in the Olympic Games held in Sydney, Australia. His other accomplishments include Two silver medals in the Seoul Games of 1988, two silver medals in the World Championships in 1990, two gold medals in the European Eventing Championships in 1991, a gold in the European Eventing Championships in 1997 and was the Winner of the Badminton Horse Trials in 1999. Stark, Ian Hugo Taylor has been an active ambassador of Shooting Star CHASE since Easter 2013. Hugo heads the PR for The Bourne Collection, which is a unique group of creative venues in London such as Ronnie Scotts, Capital Tower and Waterloo Bar & Grill. Hugo was also named in “The I” newspaper as one of “The Most Influential Men Of 2011” and had a busy 2012, with a third season of Made in Chelsea. Taylor, Hugo Actor Jay Taylor graduated from Rada in 2006 and has built an extensive resume working in the theatre, television and film. His TV work includes Casualty, Sirens, Misfits, Good Night and A Fantastic Fear of Everything. He’s part of the cast of the new audio drama Minister of Chance where he stars as Ilias. Taylor, Jay ? Noel Thatcher is a visually impaired runner and a five-times Paralympic gold medallist. He carried the British team flag in the opening ceremony of the 2004 Paralympic Games. He is a physiotherpaist and was the first Paralympic athlete to be inducted in England Athletics Hall of Fame. Thatcher, Noel Gareth Thomas, known as Alfie owing to his resemblance to a cartoon character called Alf, was the first Welsh player to reach 100 caps and is one of the most iconic and respected figures in world sport. Thomas, Gareth Iwan Gwyn Thomas MBE is a sprinter who represented Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the Olympic Games in the 400m and Wales at the Commonwealth Games. Thomas is the current UK record holder at 400 m with a time of 44.36 seconds and is a former European and Commonwealth games champion. In September 2014 James Toseland will pilot a bike on the Bonneville Salt Flats of Utah in the USA as an all-British team attempts to bring back the title of World’s Fastest Man on Two Wheels to the UK. The double World Superbike Champion retired from world championship level competition in September 2011 due to a wrist injury sustained during a testing accident earlier that year but in a bid to return to global competition he’ll be on board a bike that on paper can achieve speeds in excess of 500mph. Valeria Răcilă-van Groningen was a Romanian competition rower and Olympic champion. She received a gold medal in single sculls at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles. She received a bronze medal in double sculls at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. Thomas, Iwan Toseland, James Van Groningen, Valeria ? ? Douglas Wakiihuri became the first Kenyan to win the London Marathon when he beat Australia’s Steve Moneghetti by three seconds in 1989 two years after he’d won the World Championships marathon in Rome. He was the first Kenyan to win either a world or Olympic marathon title. No other Kenyan won the London Marathon men’s race for 15 years when Evans Rutto won in 2004 and no other Kenyan man won a global title until Luke Kibet became world champion in 2007. Wakiihuri also won an Olympic silver medal in Seoul in 1988, while in 1990 he won both the Commonwealth Games marathon and the New York Marathon title. Born in Mombasa, he lived and trained in Japan and was famous for wearing white gloves during races. His personal best of 2:09:03 was set in London. This year he will run with Kenya’s First Lady H.E. Margaret Kenyatta to raise money for Beyond Zero. British 400 m and 4 x 400 m runner Kim Wall competed and won medals at World, Commonwealth and European level events representing Team GB. After narrowly missing out on competing at the Olympics and after 14 years at international sport she has decided to retire from competitive sprinting. With new challenges and goals for the future, Yes to Life have been fortunate enough to get Kim on board as their Marathon runner and she will be taking part in the London Marathon in April running for the charity Yes to Life which supports people who have chosen to take an integrative approach to their cancer care. Running the marathon also coincides with her 30th Birthday and she can’t think of a better way to celebrate it by raising money for a charity she believes in. Anna Watkins MBE Olympic Champion, won Gold at the London 2012 Games in the double sculls alongside Katherine Grainger. She is always one for embracing new challenges, Anna is looking forward to running the 2014 London Marathon for Macmillan Cancer Support as the charity is very close to the Watkins family. Beyond Zero Wakiihuri, Douglas Wall, Kim Watkins, Anna An athlete during her youth, Charlie completed a degree in English Language and Linguistics before starting a career in television - first with MTV before her sporting background led her to Spain as a presenter for Real Madrid International Television. After a year in Madrid, Charlie joined ESPN Asia presenting their coverage of the English Premier League to an audience of 300 million. Charlie returned to the UK in 2007 where she has since worked for Sky Sports, ITV and the BBC. Charlie thrives in a live environment and currently presents on Sky Sports News as well as featuring on BBC1’s Football Focus. The past 2 motor sport seasons she has presented Live Speedway on Sky Sports every week. Also for Sky Sports in 2010 she presented the Goodwood Festival of Speed which went live for the first time and for Channel 4 Charlie presented the coverage of the UK School Games. Webster, Charlie Dominic Gerard Fe West is an English actor. His most notable television role has been Baltimore police detective Jimmy McNulty on the HBO television police drama The Wire. West was an honorary member of the Commonwealth Team for the "Walking with the Wounded"who trekked to the South Pole with Team UK (Prince Harry, Ambassador) and Team USA. Dominic will join his team again for the 2014 Virgin Money London Marathon. West, Dominic Amy Willerton is a British model who won the title of Miss Universe Great Britain 2013 and represented Great Britain at the Miss Universe 2013 pageant. In 2011, Willerton won the reality show Signed by Katie Price on Sky Living. In 2012, she worked as a presenter for Fashion TV and also in November 2013, Willerton competed on ITV's I'm a Celebrity...Get Me out of Here! Filmed in Australia and placed 5th. Willerton, Amy Sian Mary Williams is a Welsh journalist and current affairs presenter. From 2005 to March 2012, she was a co-presenter of BBC Breakfast on Mondays to Thursdays alongside Bill Turnbull. Williams regularly presented the News at Six and occasionally presented the News at One and the News at Ten. Williams, Sian David Peter S. Witts, (born 30 June 1991)is a British actor, best known for his portrayal of Joey Branning in the long-running British television soap opera, EastEnders, in which he appeared from 22 June 2012 until 26 December 2013. Witts, David Laura Wright is one of the UK’s leading classical artists, the official anthem singer for the England Rugby team and an Ambassador for music therapy charity Nordoff Robbins. Her song, Stronger As One, was the official song of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and in 2012, Laura performed for HM The Queen more times than any other artist. As an accomplished sports person, she is running the 2014 Virgin Money London Marathon to raise funds for Nordoff Robbins. In 2012 Laura was honoured with the Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Classical Award and her album, ‘The Last Rose’, was nominated for a Classical Brit Award.
