OLYMPIC LEGACY: Part 1 Rep London Gets Beach Volleyball Gold! After completing the test event last summer and successfully making it through the rigorous selection process, 18 young people from the Rep London project embarked on their Olympic journey as Young Games Makers. Their role was to retrieve the balls and rake the sand during the Olympic Beach Volleyball matches - a unique opportunity to be at the heart of the Games! READ MORE London Ambassadors Success for Young Volunteers 200 Rep London students have volunteered as Team London Ambassadors - providing key information and a friendly face for visitors during the Olympics and Paralympics. The information 'pod' in Spitalfields is the only one exclusively run by young people and was funded by the Olympic Lottery Distributor. It was launched by the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, who personally congratulated the students for their role in ensuring the success of the Games. READ MORE BBC 21CC Filming Project 20 students from four schools across east London became filmmakers this summer, zooming in on the legacy of the Games at ELBA's One Movement festival and following the journey of two of our young London Ambassadors. The young people attended a series of sessions at the BBC's 21CC, where they created storyboards, learned how to use professional cameras and how to address an audience from none other than journalist and TV presenter, Ellie Crisell.
