A Message from the
PEARLS PTA President
Pearls Got Talent Night is one
of my favorite school events
because it’s all about the students
demonstrating their giftedness
in the area of art and music.
This evening, as we sit and watch
the 5th Annual PGTN Show, we
will witness these gifts. We will
be awed by the students’
performances and their ability
to learn—with the guidance of the
PGTN Committee of parent
volunteers—to perfect their skills.
It amazes me how students
blossom when they perform.
Their ability to transform
themselves into other characters,
into a song, into a dance routine
and or simply convey a message
via music. We are surely blessed
to witness these transformations.

Sounds of Silhouettes, 2nd place
Numerous studies have proven
that involvement in the arts is
associated with gains in math,
reading, cognitive ability, critical
thinking, and verbal skill. Arts also
help with a student’s learning by
improving motivation, concentration, confidence, and teamwork.
It is with great pride that the
PEARLS PTA funds this program.
Sit back and enjoy the show!
