Single Airman Raft and Zip lining
July 15-17 | Departs 8:30am | $150
Ever been white water rafting? Ever been zip lining? If you answered “no” to one or both of these questions you need to come
with ODR and experience BOTH of them. We will be traveling to the beautiful state of Colorado to enjoy the thrills of both water and air. We will be rafting down the Arkansas River for a day and then zip lining through the sky the next day. Cost includes
transportation, gear for rafting and zip lining, and some meals.
Paintball Tournament
July 23 | 8:00 am ODR | See Price Below
Come out and experience the thrill of a paintball tournament that ODR will hold. The tournament will consist of teams of 5 people. If you sign up before July 8 it is $20 per player, if you sign up after July 8 it will be $25 per player. There will be prizes for
the top three teams.

It’s hot…really hot... But fear not! Outdoor Recreation has the solution! Come escape the heat and jump in the water for the
Elephant Butte weekend. We also stay in a glorious hotel that has natural hot springs near them, where you can soak away any
frustration. This is a great opportunity to grab the kids, a significant other or some friends and play in the cool refreshing waters! We will bring canoes and kayaks as well as our Stand up Paddle boards for your paddling delight. Cost includes transportation, hotel room, and water gear.
Recon Downhill Mountain Biking

Come head up to Angel Fire, one of the top downhill mountain biking destinations in the United States. This is guaranteed to
be an adrenaline filled weekend that you won’t forget. Save your legs by riding the gondola to the top of this incredible mountain and cruise down on your bike through unforgettable and action packed trails. Cost includes transportation, equipment for
camping, mountain biking, and some meals.

Human Foosball Tournament
July 18-22 | Registration FREE
Squadrons get your Human Foosball Team together for a week long tournament in the Football Field.
Each team will consist of 6 players on the Foosball field at a time. Max team size is 10 players.
Teams can register at the Domenici Fitness & Sport Center front desk during normal operating hours
or download the registration form our web site complete the form and email it
49FSS.FSVS.FSSFitnessCenter@us.af.mil. Commander Cup Points will be awarded under the
Extramural program.
Tour De Holloman
August 20 | 7 am | Registration $30 for individuals, $45 for Team of Two and $70 for Team of Four
Come one come all join us for our annual 49 Mile Bike Ride/Race around the flight line of Holloman AFB.
You can register as an individual, two person team or a four person team. The categories are Open, Over
40, Family of 2, Family of 4, Team of 2 or Team of 4. Sign up at the Domenici Fitness & Sports Center or
on Active.com The registration form can be downloaded from www.hollomanfss.com web page.

Chihuahua Baseball in El Paso
July 16 and August 20 | Departs at 5pm | Cost $25 per person
Let the Community Activity Center take you out to the ball game. Join the bus as we head to El Paso to watch the Chihuahua Baseball Team. They are the San Diego Padres AAA team. Enjoy a Saturday night out at the game with fireworks at
the end of the night. Trip includes transportation, ticket and bark bucks which give you money towards concessions.

Las Cruces Brewery Tour

Apache mesa golf course
4-Person Red, White and Blue Scramble Tournament*
July 9 | 8 am Shotgun Start | Cost: $20 per person
Your first six holes will be played on red tees, second six holes played on white tees and last
six holes played on blue tees. Tournament includes a longest drive and closest to the pin contest. Registration ends at noon July 7.
Get in the Swing Golf Clinic
July 23 | 10 - 11 am | Cost: $20 per person
Learn to play golf or get some pointers to improve your game from a member of the Ladies
Professional Golf Association. All participants will partake in a 60-minute clinic on the practice green and driving range. Clinic includes a 9-hole round of golf and cart to practice newly
acquired skills. Registration ends at noon on July 21. Golf club rental is available.
Get in the Swing YOUTH Golf Clinic
July 24 | 10 - 11 am | Cost: $20 per person
Open to youth ages 8-14. All participants will receive a 60-minute instructional clinic from an
LPGA member to introduce them to the great game of golf. Participants will receive a 9-hole
round of golf to practice their newly acquired skills. Registration ends at noon on July 21.

Summer Crafts: Kids Arts & Crafts Projects
Every Thursday in July & August

kids craft projects for ALL ages!
Clay Hand Building

Join us for a two part class to learn how to make your own coil or pinch
pot. The first class will consist of building your pot, then come back to
learn about glazing to add your personal touch!
Paint & Sip
July 29 and August 26th
Time: 1800-2100

Min Participants: 6/Max Participants: 20
A little paint, a little wine, and a whole lot of fun! This class can be a
fun night out with friends or a loving night out with your spouse! Come
learn the basics of acrylic painting on a 16x20 canvas, while sipping on
your favorite beverage (BYOB)! Deadlines to sign up are July 27 and
August 24.
Ceramics Special!
Free glazing every day during the month of July! Come in and paint any
of our ceramic pieces and we’ll cover the glazing fee, all you have to pay
for is the piece you choose!

Come to the Arts & Crafts Center any time between 3pm and 6pm
on Tuesdays and Thursdays to get your Wood Shop certification.
Once you complete the brief safety class, you will be able to use
the Wood Shop for all of your wood crafting needs! Class fee includes 6 free hours of shop use.
Instructors Needed
Do you have a special or artistic skill that you would like to teach
others? We are always looking for talented individuals to teach our
interested customers. Call or stop by the Arts & Crafts Center for
more details on how you can pass your talent on to others.
Private Classes
The Arts & Crafts Center can host private craft parties for spouse
groups, home schoolers, birthdays, or just a bunch of friends!

T-Shirt Printing
We now offer t-shirt printing at a reasonable price with a one week
turnaround on most orders. We can print on hats, bags, mouse
pads and almost any fabric surface. We also can print custom temporary tattoos, stickers and fingernail decals! Stop by the Arts &
Crafts Center to see examples of what we can do for you!
