Using stockinette & reverse stockinette stitch makes this project very easy & the sock yarn makes for lightweight wristlets for the early fall. HOMEWORK: Knit a swatch to use in class: using light colored yarn & at least worsted weight or chunkier – Co 20 sts, knit 4 rows to create a garter border so swatch won’t roll; then Row 1: knit across; Row 2: k3, purl to last 3 sts, K3. By the end of the last class we have you started on your first project – a simple dishcloth. We strive to work with each knitter to individualize his/her needs.
