on the right foot! Discover new ways to support and enjoy your baby, engage
with other moms and dads, and build on your strengths. Playtime and “nesting”
with your infant will be followed by parent discussion and the best available
information and support from our experienced, licensed parent educators. Your

unique and special, and so is this time in your life. Age ranges for Baby Steps

Siblings Plus is a program of Peppermint
Fence Plus. This exceptional, accredited
program is available to siblings of children
enrolled in a daytime or Tuesday evening

ECFE Night Life
Kids on the Go: Take Me to ECFE (24+ Months)
E502
Bring your 2- to 5-year-old to “night school” for the same fun
and learning as our Kids on the Go day classes. After special
parent/child activities, projects, and fun together at circle time,
you’ll leave your child with his/her new friends and awesome
teachers as he/she learns through play activities. Meanwhile,
parent group discussion will cover whatever information and
guidance you need now, such as stress management, routines,
siblings, behavior, and social/emotional growth. Couples,
individuals, and single parents are all welcome!
Baby Steps: Baby Night Owls (0-6 Months)
E001 Series
Can’t make it to class during the day? Both Mom and Dad
want to attend? Baby Night Owls is your solution! Enjoy
the same Baby Step experiences at night: special time with
your baby, meeting parents and their newborns, and the
information and support you need! Siblings Plus is available
for your older children, through kindergarten age. Two 6-week
series are offered in the fall. Additional 6-week series will be
offered January through May 2013. Check our website or call
763-745-5290 for updates.
Busy Ones: Toddler Night Owls (12-24 Months)
E101
With so many parents in the daytime work force, Toddler
Night Owls fills quickly. Time with their toddlers is short and
precious, so parents and staff decide together if or when they
will separate for parent-only time. Parent/child play and parent
learning and sharing are guided by a licensed parent educator
and early childhood teacher. Class runs September 2012May 2013. Toddler Night Owls can make it till 7:30 p.m. one
night a week, and they love class as much as their parents. It’s
the best of both worlds!

A real princess is capable, creative, and playful. So what do little
princesses love to do? They dress up, design their jewelry and

good manners at tea parties. Of course, they also love to run, climb,
jump rope, pedal bikes, and play games. Be a princess. It’s a blast!

“travel” to a different Spanish-speaking country to discover its foods,
culture, dance, crafts, animals, and most of all, language. We’ll sing
songs in Spanish, dance, play games, and make crafts—building
children’s Spanish vocabulary along the way. Each day there will be
a special snack, including some ethnic treats made during class.

Whether you’re just thinking ahead or in the midst of potty
training, this class is for you! Mary’s goal is for you to leave
relaxed and reassured, with a reasonable timeline, expectations,
and strategies for your child. She works closely with our staff and
has great ideas for collaborating with your child’s teacher when
you know it’s the right time to get started.
Understanding what your child needs can be very complicated.
Is the situation at hand about temperament, development,
birth order, or circumstances? Or is it about gender? Learn
to recognize where gender plays a role in your child’s life.
Discover the ways boys and girls are both different and alike
in their emotional and physical development, their approaches
to relationships and learning, and much more. Using researchbased information, Marcia dispels common myths and incorrect
assumptions about gender differences. Her insights and
parenting strategies are enlightening and practical. Don’t miss
this opportunity to better support and enjoy your child!
