Marble Church at Shores of St. Andrew Bible Camp
Marble Church was moved to
Shores of St. Andrew in the fall of
2004 and later opened in 2005.
The Church’s original home was in
rural Canby where it’s congregational membership was declining.
The church board sadly decided it
was time to dissolve the congregation and close the church doors,
but they hated to see the building
stand empty and deteriorate. A former counselor from camp heard of
the news and suggested that they
donate the church to the camp.

Wedding Rates
set upon its new foundation, the
structure seems as though it has sat
there for years. In the summer, it is
used for worship daily by campers
and hosting weddings and baptisms
for years to come. Marble Church is
available for weddings April through
October.
 The church has 20 wooden pews; 10 on each

wedding host to make sure the sound
system, air conditioning/heat, etc. are

Who is Eligible for Corporate Rates?
Parishioners who are members of a
Green Lake Lutheran Ministries Corporate Congregation are eligible for the
corporate fee rate. If you are unsure if
your church is a corporate member
contact your church secretary or Green
Lake Lutheran Ministries.

Policies
 An ordained clergy must perform the wedding ceremony.
 No tacks, nails or staples may be used to affix
decorations
 Upon the wedding party’s departure from the
church; you may wish to use birdseed for
throwing. Rice is not allowed.
 Church services are held occasionally on Sunday mornings. Therefore, the chapel must be
cleaned up before Sunday morning.
 Shores of St. Andrew Bible Camp is occasionally available for receptions.
 The wedding couple is responsible for lining
up clergy, musicians, florists and photographers.
 GLLM has a no alcohol policy with the exception of communion wine.
