I am pleased to share Ours to Serve House of Hospitality, Inc. /Village of Hope’s strategic plan and annual report with you. Since 1983, Ours to Serve House of Hospitality has been an essential resource for our community. Recent years have placed greater importance on having strong communities and families. This strategic plan was designed to address challenges and help our community reverse disturbing trends of child poverty and family homelessness. Crisis Calls Received 244 Individuals Served 143 Families Served 102 Children: 41 ages 0-5, 33 ages 6-12 and 11 ages 13-17 Occupancy Rate: 94% (Cleaning/Maintaining rooms) Total Days of Resident Care 7,894 Turned away 461 Children, 225 Women and 101 Men *The less than 1% vacancy rate in Bemidji is the biggest factor in families finding safe, permanent housing I.
