OPEN DOOR FACTORY Exploring People & Flavours PRESS DAY 3 e 4 July 2014 In collaboration with Pastificio La Molisana Open door factory 3th and 4th July :: La Molisana is glad to dedicate to international journalists 2 days of entertainment & culture :: 3th and 4th July we open the doors of the factory and organize a program full of activities. La Molisana Pasta Factory Integrated supply chain :: Since 1912 La Molisana produces Quality pasta, thanks to the excellent raw materials and consolidated competences :: In 2011 La Molisana starts a new era after the acquisition by the Ferro Group. Ferro, family of millers since 1910, has the prerogative to manage the entire chain of pasta production: from the wheat to the table :: Pasta La Molisana has an unmistakable yellow color, is characterized by an intense aroma of grain and offers a high protein value neverless than 14% and high toughness.. Program Overview :: Plant Tour :: Stories from the land :: Exploring our food Plant Tour Mill & Pasta Factory :: The visit shows the pasta processing, from grinding the grain in the Mill to the realization of the pasta. :: This experience is an occasion to learn the history and our strong commitment toward the territory. Stories form the land Conversation with experts :: Professor, writer and member of General Council of Italians Abroad Norberto Lombardi draws the common thread that unites the traditions of the Samnites with Molise's gastronomic culture of nowaday. :: The agronomist and researcher from Campobasso, president of Arca Sannita Michele Tannotells us about his work. More than thirty years in search of the old varieties of fruit to save them from extinction in order to create a genetic bank to preserve the treasures of a land to be discovered. Exploring our food Pasta & others excellence :: Resident chef at the restaurant Ribo in Termoli, Bobo conducts a cooking show highlighting the best shapes of La Molisana along with the excellence of the territory. :: A delightful pasta tasting for the partecipants, who can interact with the chef.
