Attention: AF Singles
The Air Force's Single Airman Program Initiative kicks off Oct. 17, with
a goal to provide Force Support Squadron (FSS) resources that foster
a strong culture, mission, and sense of community for single Airmen.
Single Airmen are defined as officers or enlisted Active Duty or
Reservists without a spouse. This includes Single Sailors and Single
Soldiers and those married but stationed at Eglin without their spouse.
Programs developed for the Single Airman Initiative are targeted for
the 18-25 age group, however, ALL patrons authorized to use FSS
programs and activities are eligible to participate. So, this coming year,
watch for new programs and recreational opportunities geared toward
interests identified by Singles.
FSS Seeks Activity Ideas for Singles, by Singles
If you're in the Single demographic mentioned above, Eglin's Force
Support Squadron is interested in hearing from you as to what new
programs you would enjoy participating in, were they offered. New lifeskill classes, recreational programs, outings and trips—what activities
would you like to see offered by FSS? Please share your ideas with us
by responding via e-mail to marketing@eglinforcesupport.com.
In the meantime, be sure to check out Wacky Wednesdays at the Eglin
Bowling Center, where single military members bowl for FREE (more
information on page 8), and Eglin Outdoor Recreation's Singles Hike
on Oct. 22 (more information at left). Also, the Eglin Base Library would
especially like to invite you to their "adults only" Scary Movie Night on
Oct. 27 (more information on page 12).
