If you missed it we finally
had a judged Concours for
the chapter April 22 after 4
years.
Seems like something always got in the way like
Ofest twice.
What looked like a dismal
turnout two days before
actually turned into a good
show with 34 entries and
many, many more visitors.
Thanks to The Forum and
Atlanta Bread for the facility and food for our Concours.
We need to do this more
often.
They did come out of the
woodwork and from some
distance.
Mike Gray brought the 1984 E28 Alpina B9 up from
Perry GA and George Whitley came down from
the mountains in his 95 850CSI.
Clinton Cato came over from Athens and cleaned
up with 35 points for the Most Ugly trophy for his
89 325i.
The Ugly Trophy is a perpetual so come win it next
time.

President’s Message by Jason Courant
Greetings Peachtree Chapter Members,
Ahhhh…summer time in Atlanta! It’s HOT!!!! 2012 has been great year so far. The Peachtree
Chapter Concourse was a huge success. Thanks to all of our sponsors and supporters for
making it such a great event. And thanks to Gary Beck for organizing it all.
After some site challenges, the 2012 Autocross season has recovered and is well underway.
We are holding this season down at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The venue is amazing. Thanks
to Bruce Herstowski and crew for putting together an awesome series! We are finalizing dates
for the 2nd half of the season as we speak. Stay tuned for updates.
In May we also hosted an open house at Motion Control Suspension, in Alpharetta. It was a
great opportunity to see all the development work and testing that go into building top-notch
suspension components. We are looking to hold more open houses in the coming months at
some of our other local vendors.
Our next Driving School will be in September up at Road Atlanta, look out for an email blast
about the school in a few months.
Finally, we will be hosting a Car Corral again at the Petit LeMans on Saturday, October 20 th.
Be on the look out for more details as we get closer to that event. This is a fantastic time to
hang out with your fellow club members while watching world class endurance racing.
2012 continues to be a great year with the Peachtree Chapter. Please stay tuned to the Chapter Website for upcoming events. If you have anything you would like to do as a club, I encourage you to email me so we can explore setting up those events.
