Our Story
In 1960, Alex Kennedy purchased a roadside garden
business along the only main
road to Cape Cod on a picturesque piece of property in
Scituate. Soon after, his
grandson Robert graduated
from Stockbridge School at
Umass. He quickly built the
reputation of the garden center & landscaping services
with a focus on quality and
service. Today, Kennedy’s
tradition continues with
Robert’s son, Chris, a graduate of Penn State University
is running the family business.
Kennedy’s Country Gardens is celebrating 50
years in business in 2010!
