Conducting dedicated ECMO training courses and

Improve awareness of ECMO in India
Make a common platform for those who are doing ECMO
or planning to start the program.
Training Medical & Paramedical staff as ECMO specialists
and teams.
To make standard protocols & Guidelines for ECMO.
To have common data registry of ECMO cases in India
To decrease the cost of disposables of ECMO.


Lot to be desired towards sharing Data
Many centers have not reported the detailed data
It remains a
BIG CHALLENGE FOR SWACELSO registration committee to get
all ECMO centers to be members and share and report Data
Organized From 2010 onwards
 Annual or Biannual meetings with workshops
 Teaching faculty: National and International
 Participants: Passionate, motivated Drs,
perfusionists and Critical care nurses from India and
abroad
 Teams from Iran, Muscat, Abudhabi participated



Aim: To cover all corners of the country
