The inaugural Perfusionist Training & Learning @ National Heart Centre, Singapore is a 2 day workshop which features
didactic lectures on cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) applications, interactive and sharing discussions on perfusion &
Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) practices and operating theatre visits. Hands-on training includes
perfusion crisis management in different clinical scenarios using the Orpheus high fidelity Perfusion Simulator and the
setup and priming of the ECMO circuit.
