We’ll watch your children, age 6 months to 10 years, while you participate in a class or are involved in an activity at the Y. Our Wellness Centers are open to men, women and children ages 11 and older. Whatever your interest or experience, we support your journey to wellness. YOUTH DEVELOPMENT Every child and teen deserves the opportunity to discover who they are and what they can achieve. We weave essential YMCA values into all that we do. We offer a Financial Assistance program to qualified applicants. Additionally, the Y offers mission-based programs, such as: •Career Forum: a free weekly program to help those seeking employment •Achievers: a program that empowers adults with special needs to learn essential skills for everyday living • Community Safety Training that includes CPR, First Aid, AAA Safe Driving Course, Mental Health First Aid Training •LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA: a free 12‑week cancer recovery program for adults •Volunteer opportunities that help to strengthen our community BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP B. FIT The Beginner Fitness program is a free, 12-week wellness program designed to provide structure and accountability around your goals. FREE YOUTH WELLNESS ORIENTATION We offer Wellness Orientations for children ages 11 and 12 years to help build strong, healthy habits at an early age. FAMILY LOCKER ROOMS AT MT. AIRY Our Family Locker Room is for members who are chaperoning children of the opposite gender, or individuals with specific care needs who require assistance. A key is available at the Welcome Center. YMCA RECIPROCITY PROGRAM The Reciprocity program expands membership benefits at YMCAs in NJ.
