Once you’ve decided to build your first new home, the next few
months will be crucial in seeing your dream take shape around
you, so we’ve put together this cheat sheet to cover the basics
of building brand new and to help kick-start your new dream.
1. Visit a Burbank display office and take a look at
the different designs and choices available. When
you’re ready to take the next step, you’ll be able
to get a quotation, pay your deposit and get the
siting plan for your property.
2. Book some quality time with a mortgage
consultant (Burbank’s own NPF crew will be
more than willing to help) to sort out your loan
requirements and finance application.
3. Your lot can now be soil tested and surveyed.
4. Visit our Edge Selection Studio and make your
entire colour, finishes and electrical selections for
your new home.
5. Sit back and relax while our contracts team
finalises your final drawings and contract.
6. After this has been sorted to your satisfaction,
construction of your home will commence. Look
out for different key stages including the pouring of
the slab, building the frame, and adding in bricks,
a roof and walls.
7. Watch your home take shape, with all the
internal and external details and finishing touches
that turn four walls into a home.

cannot make any further changes once New Home Order is signed off; no further client variations will be accepted (with the exception of electrical and colour upgrades made
at Edge); you agree to be available for scheduled appointments as requested between Monday to Friday during standard business hours; you agree to return all required
paperwork urgently to ensure work continues without delay; you understand the agreed balance of deposit is required at the contract signing appointment; you understand
unconditional finance approval is your responsibility to provide to the builder within 30 days of contract signing date; you understand conditions that can impact on your Site
