N O V E M B E R the 2 0 1 4 Brier Buzz Up next… The second volunteer rally is going to be held on Sunday, January 25th from 1 - 4pm at the North Hill Curling Club. At this rally you will pick up your Volunteer Rewards Package, which will have your uniform, handbook, and pin. More information to follow next month. The Volunteer Appreciation Party will be held on Friday, February 27th in the Patch (at the Big Four). Starting at 7:30, it kicks off the event with a tasty meal – but stick around for the Fan Appreciation Party and your chance to meet the teams! You’ll also hear some great music. Please RSVP by December 15th to Alyssa at akelly@curling.ca if you will be attending. Volunteer Rally Success The first Tim Hortons Brier volunteer rally took place November 17th and 18th at the Calgary Curling Club. With the help of some FANTASTIC Special Events volunteers, we managed to get nearly 500 volunteers signed up and sized. Thank you to all the helpers, and every volunteer who attended. We have room for a few more volunteers, and we need to get the spots filled ASAP.
