I. Background Stands, Backgrounds:
a. Studio Background System: (from imageWest.TV)
This system consists of lightweight, strong, aluminum alloy stands and
crossbar. Ideal size for suspending the Chroma-Key screen or
muslin backgrounds.
II. Studio Lighting:
1900 Watt “ Powerhouse” Three Point Lighting System: (from
imageWest.TV)
This is an ideal system for quality 3-pt. lighting: Key light; Fill
light and back light. The kit includes: heavy duty tripods; a 24” x
24” Soft Box for a Fill light; metal Barndoors for all three lights;
color gel pack (good for lighting background) ; 2 43” multipurpose
umbrellas and a carrying case.

The Shure PG 58 is a rugged, all metal dynamic XLR mic with
internal shock mount and On/Off switch. Ideal for News Desk and
field work when used with included matching transformer.
b. Audio Mixer: Rolls RM70-Mic/Source Selector
Designed for mixing microphones (3 XLR inputs) and sources such as
CD players, VCRs (4 stereo source inputs)
IV. Video:
a. Video Mixer: Sima SFX-10 Digital Mixer
Four input Video Switcher. Includes: Digital effects, e.g. mosaic, paint,
negative effects, etc.; Picture in Picture effect; wide range of wipe
patterns, e.g. circle, bar, wedge wipes, fade to black etc.; LIVE CHROMA
KEY EFFECT.
Includes integrated audio mixer. The audio mixer allows you to mix the
soundtracks from 2 video sources, an aux audio source (e.g. background
music from a computer), and a microphone.

Widescreen HDTV/LCD monitor. High resolution (1440 x 900) with
inputs for: HDMI; S-VHS; composite video; component and VGA
computer output. These monitors are used for both the Preview and
Record monitors connected to the Sima FX-10 Digital Mixer.
f. DVD/VCR Combo: Toshiba Model D-VR600 DVD Recorder
and VCR Combo
Inputs: composite video, S-Video, and Firewire input
Outputs: composite video, S-Video, Component Video and HDMI
g. Camcorder: Canon ZR-900 Mini-DV Digital Camcorder
This is a Standard Definition (SD) Mini-DV camcorder. It has a 41X advanced zoom
lens. The firewire output allows you to transfer your video directly to the Toshiba
DVD/VCR (above) and your Casablanca S4000 Digital Video Editor. This is also one of
the very few camcorders in this class with an EXTERNAL MIC INPUT and
HEADPHONE JACK for monitoring audio levels when recording. The microphone
terminal on the ZR900 makes it especially useful for educators and trainers to carefully
capture the audio you need to make most effective use of the video you shoot.
