Fluidotherapy ® – the only name in dry heat therapy
Dry Heat Therapy to relieve localized pain, increase localized blood circulation, increase range of
motion and relieve minor pain and stiffness associated with non-rheumatoid arthritis.
Chattanooga Group’s specially designed line of Fluidotherapy units utilize a stream of heated air flowing over and through finely
granulated Cellex® particles, causing them to levitate. This air stream creates air pockets and “bubbles” to provide a powerful massaging
action that transmits heat and tactile stimulation to achieve many physiological and therapeutic benefits. Cellex Dry Heat Media is the
required media for use with all Fluidotherapy devices. Cellex particles are made of natural and organic cellulose, making disposal of the
media from the unit simple and environmentally safe.
Key effects of Fluidotherapy:
• Dry Heat increases circulation and assists in pain relief.
• Limb Buoyancy allows patients to freely perform a variety of resistive exercises with increased mobility and decreased pain.
Buoyancy is achieved because the fluidized Cellex particles act like a low viscosity fluid, allowing limbs to be suspended much like
in a liquid state.
• Massaging Action provides warmth, increased local circulation and pain diminishing effects to help increase joint range of motion.
The transfer of kinetic energy from the Cellex to an immersed limb is comforting and allows for increased exercise range and
decreased pain.

Cando balls are used by therapists and fitness
professionals to help patients and clients improve
balance, coordination, flexibility and strength.
Stretching and range of motion exercises done
on an inflatable ball for fitness or rehabilitation
require the use of core muscles to compensate for
the loss of balance and stability the ball creates.
Used in a variety of settings such as pain management,
vestibular movement, equilibrium therapy, and birthing
classes, inflatable balls isolate the core muscles of the abdomen, chest
and back. The balls may be used slightly under inflated to give a soft, mushy
feel or can be inflated to near-maximum capacity for a firm, bouncy feel.
Balls can support up to 600 lbs. (275 kg). Balls come packaged in
a polybag.

TRACTION THERAPY
Patient Data Management System (PDMS)
Patient Data Management System (PDMS) is a patented
(513,615) optional software program that allows the
clinician to use their PC to organize, store, display, compare
and print patient traction treatment information captured
on Patient Data Cards from the TX Traction unit. Pain
Map Profiles are recorded using a Numeric Pain Index,
Visual Analog Scale (VAS), and Pain Mapping for
each patient. Electrode Placement Diagrams,
Treatment Area Diagrams and Session Notes
can be created for each patient through
PDMS. Includes software, card reader
and five Patient Data Cards.
