It was five fun filled, exhausting days at Broken Bay.
Dear Parents
Thank you to Ali Owers, Kylie, Maddie, Allana and Jazaya for working on
Sunday at the Bunnings BBQ. It was a very busy day, selling 970
sausages and 25 kilos of onions. Thank you also to Jim and Bek for
supplying the extra drinks for us.
I will be away for the rest of the week as I am attending one of my Aunt’s
funeral in Rockhampton. Chris Till and Mrs K will be covering the senior
class. Photos will not be taken this Friday as I will be away.
On Monday Emma and myself will be attending Teaching Early Numeracy
at Gundagai Primary School.
See you all next week

Broken Bay Camp
All senior students had a great time last week at Broken Bay. It was a great
chance to mix and make friends with students from Adelong, Nangus, Wee
Jasper and Gundagai South schools. The weather was great and we had a
fantastic time doing a huge range of activities, it was an action packed
week. Day activities included fishing, orienteering, abseiling, the flying
fox, high ropes, sea kyaking, raft building, swimming, archery, boomerang
throwing, marine discovery walks and bushwalking followed by a camp
cook out. The night activities were giant games, tabloid sports,
improvisation night
and a disco. Our leisure time was spent in the pool, fishing, playing beach
volleyball, giant chess or playing soccer on the oval. You can see why
everyone slept so well at night! Our instructors were great and we had lots
of fun. There were other schools from Burren Junction, Masada College
and the Zig Zag school there too.
Each lodge had to help set up for meals, serve the food and wash up!
All the students from Bongongo were a pleasure to take, showing good
social skills, manners, a positive attitude towards all activities and often
volunteering to do extra jobs, excellent!
