Margaret Lim CEO, Dentsu Aegis Network Malaysia With over 30 years experience in the media industry, Margaret started the first media specialist company in Malaysia and initiated the start of the Malaysian Media Specialist Association where she served as the founding President. A highly respected communications specialist she joined the Aegis network in 1998 and is credited for its growth from one company, Carat, to include Vizeum, Posterscope, Isobar, and iProspect. In July, Dentsu Aegis network appointed Margaret Lim as Chief Executive Officer to lead and oversee the newly integrated group’s operations in Malaysia overseeing agency brands Dentsu Malaysia, Dentsu Media Malaysia, Dentsu Utama, Carat, Isobar, iProspect, Posterscope and Vizeum. Jason Ko CEO Malaysian Youth Community (MYC!) MYC! was founded in 2000 by Jason when he was an Investment Banker. When he came back from Canada, he met many smart young Malaysians who started short in their career simply because they could not afford a degree. He created a website and over 2,000 scholarships and courses were listed but the project took on a life of its own with Jason even leaving his well paid job in portfolio management to run this project without salary for the first year. 10 years on, MYC! is one of the largest student employers in Malaysia and is responsible for channelling more than RM 1.5 million in cash to Malaysian students via jobs, event prizes, cash scholarships, etc. Jason knows youth like no else in this market. Simon Kahn Chief Marketing Officer, Google Asia Pacific Simon is responsible for marketing strategy, development, and execution for Google’s consumer-facing and B2B products and solutions in Asia Pacific. Previously, he worked at American Express for thirteen years including serving as Country Manager for Singapore from 2008 to 2011. His career in digital has spanned over 14 years across various senior roles at startups and multinationals, including CNBC and The Wall Street Journal. Andrew Tu Managing Director APAC - TheTradeDesk Andy started his career in advertising in the early-nineties and was one of the ‘old-school’ advertising guys who got lucky and literally ‘fell’ into the interactive/digital marketing space.
