Coalinga is 10 miles west of Interstate 5 and 60 miles southwest of Fresno - California’s sixth largest city. Coalinga is a fullservice city that provides a wide range of service to 18,061 citizens. The City Council chooses a Mayor and Mayor Pro-Tem from among its members. Coalinga is a full - service city, with a Redevelopment Agency, Public Finance Authority and a new municipal airport.
