HITS Ocala Winter Circuit, entitled
'Once and Again' is an illustration
of Jennifer Alfano of SBS Stables
from Buffalo, N.Y. The piece was
done by Mary Venandeaux who
captured the image at HITS Post
Time Farm in Ocala in 2008.
Verrandeaux will have her fine
equestrian art on display at the second-annual Equine Art Gal4 presented by Golden Ocala Golf and
Equestrian Club on Thursday
evening, Feb. 12.

Mnna Hankin Mintz of Horsham, Pa. will be honored by the
American Saddlebred Horse Association with a Wing Commander
Medal.
The honor is given to.those who
demonstrate outstanding service to
ASHA zurd the breed, and through
that dedication, have athacted interest in the highest quality show horses of the breed,thereby contributing
to advancing the Saddlebred'spopulmity with the public.
The presentation will be made at
the 2009 Annual Convention Feb.

Member Organization (GMO)
Awmds during the Board of Governor's General Assembly at the 2008
Adequan/USDF Annual Convention in December.

NJQHA offers opportunities for
horse lovers to participate in Trail
and Recreationaf riding, showing,
clinics and youth activities. Plans
for this year include four Charity
Trail Rides, Spring Clinic and
Spring Spectacular Show will be
held at the new Dream Park in
Gloucester County May 1.

The United StatesEquestrian Federation (USEF) and George Monis
have renewed Morris' contract to
serve as Chef d'Equipe and Technical Advisor through 2012.
Morris has steeredthe U.S. Jumping program to ffemendous success
over the fust four years of his
tenure. His attention to detail and
meticulous preparation of his teams
is world renowned.
Morris' next challenges looming
large on the horizon are the 2010
Alltech FEI World Equestrian
Games in Lexington, KY and the
next Olyrnpic Games in 2012.
'1 am very much looking forward
to working with the horses and riders that have been so successfirl in
the program over the last four
years," said Morris. 'T am also enthusiastic about the new riders and
horses coming up through the system; they will help strengthen our
ability to field successfirl intemational teams."
