Dear Friends, It is with great excitement that we invite you to join us for our 2013 season. This season – my first here at the Playhouse – is packed full of fun, entertainment and delight. In the Springer Theatre, we kick off the season with a bang with Suds – a musical that is sure to get your feet tapping. From there, we soar up, up and away with Boeing Boeing – a farce complete with doors slamming, mistaken identities and pratfalls. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is sure to leave you in stitches; No Great Mischief, a beautiful adaptation of Alistair McLeod’s novel, is a heartfelt story of a family’s history. Finally, Salt-Water Moon is a Canadian classic for a reason – it is funny, romantic and smart. In the Firehall Theatre, I am thrilled to introduce you to writer Jason Hall, and his funny and surprising thriller Third Floor, and to share with you Tomson Highway’s charming one-woman musical The (Post) Mistress. Please join us at the Playhouse in 2013 – it is sure to be a summer of laughter, fun and surprise!
