To inspect, maintain and repair heavy equipment on construction sites, Zahid’s end-users depend
on devices and IT services to serve customers no matter where they are located, even in rugged and
isolated locations.
Zahid’s objective is to develop a cost effective IT operations and support strategy to increase
productivity and end-user satisfaction. However, the IT department was performing in a reactive
mode and it was not transparent what IT assets Zahid had in place (i.e. how many devices were
