Clinton J. Boomer
Clinton J. Boomer, known to his friends as “Booms,” resides in the quaint, idyllic, leafy
paradise of Macomb, Illinois, where he attended school from the 4th grade through college.
He began playing D&D with the 1993 release of Planescape, began freelancing for Paizo &
Kobold Quarterly after his Top 4 placement in RPG Superstar 2008, and currently devotes
a full 99.9% of his waking hours to thinking about RPGs. Boomer is an amateur filmmaker
(co-creator of the PHB PSAs on YouTube), an Ennie-award winning writer (contributor to
the Pathfinder Chronicles Campaign Setting and KoboldQuarterly.com) and a very talented
bartender. Although he cannot find enough hours in the day to do even half of what he wants,
Boomer is insanely prolific on the topics of ninjas, comedy, D&D, vampires, Lovecraftian gods,
pornography, super-villains, gay-rights, the human condition, alcohol and a number of other
things he thinks are pretty darn cool.
Tyler Walpole
See that cool art on the cover? That great stuff is the work of Tyler. Tyler is an
Iowa artist who has done fantastic illustrations, covers and storyboards. He has worked
on a variety of projects, including the Avengers animated TV show, Dungeons &
Dragons Comic, Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook and Bestiary, World of Warcraft TCG,
Dragonlance, Forgotten Realms, and many others. Those of you who have been at
Gamicon in years past might recognize the models for the characters. See next guest
entry...
The Gary Lange
The Gary Lange is the founder and creative genius behind Lange Games. His credits include the
ever popular Dragon Supreme strategy board game, a series of party games, and the RPG Role Playing
Xpress. Any resemblance to the cover art is purely incidental... really...
Steve Crow
Steve Crow has been working in the gaming industry as a freelancer since 1980. He started with Villain
& Vigilantes 1.0 for FGU, and then moved on to DC Heroes for Mayfair, Vampire and Werewolf for White
Wolf Game Studios, and Spycraft and Stargate SG1 for Alderac and Crafty Games. His most recent work
includes World on Fire in 2009, a worldbook for Spycraft. Steve has also written fiction for Twilight
Creations and Silver Age Sentinels. Upcoming projects in 2011 include Spycraft 3.0, and a return to his
roots with an epic space adventures, for Villains & Vigilantes 2.1, a sequel to his original work.
Todd Morgan
Todd was raised in the wild by red foxes. Since then he has been into tabletop gaming for about
6 years, picking it up after reading a lot of RPG fiction (Forgotten Realms, Dragonlance, etc). His
gaming experiences have been dominated by organized play campaigns, starting with Living Greyhawk.
He assisted the local organized play community when 4E was released by co-organizing Living
Forgotten Realms. As the local community shifted towards the beta-test version of Pathfinder, he began
coordinating and judging that game almost exclusively. At GenCon 2011, Paizo awarded him a 5 Star
Judge award after judging his 106th scenario and offered him the Venture-Captain position for Iowa. As
the regional Venture-Captain, he is tasked with growing Pathfinder Society play locally as well as helping
other coordinators across the state and in Omaha grow their local game days.

In this exceptionally silly and awesome game, your
objective is to win! Simple enough. Sadly, all of your
opponents have the same simple goal, and they’re
trying to make you lose. Between Rock Paper Scissors
battles, being eaten by a random Dragon, or saved by
a Kitten Ambush, there are many hazards to avoid.

#3-23 The Goblinblood Dead (1-5)
Friday 1pm
By Jerall Toi. More than a decade has passed since the
Goblinblood Wars left the nation of Isger in shambles,
and the Pathfinder Society uses the many abandoned
roads through the county’s interior to smuggle
valuable relics. But when a series of attacks on the
Varisian caravans carrying the illicit cargo puts the
route in jeopardy, it falls to the PCs to investigate.
#3–24 The Golden Serpent (5 - 9)
Friday 1pm
By Jim Groves. The Pathfinder Society sends a
team of agents to meet an important contact in an
unassuming restaurant in Absalom’s Ivy District, but
not everything is as it seems. What the Pathfinders
find there will lead them into a lion’s den of danger
and intrigue in the City at the Center of the World.
#3–25 Storming the Diamond Gate (3 - 7)
Friday 1pm
By Larry Wilhelm. Agents of the Pathfinder Society
have discovered the location of a back door into their
private demiplane that puts the entire realm at risk
of plunder and exploitation at the hands of the Aspis
Consortium. Rather than close the access point into
their adventuring paradise, however, the Decemvirate
sends a crack team of Pathfinders to secure the gate..
#3–26 Portal of the Sacred Rune (7-11)
#4–03 The Golemworks Incident (5-9)
Friday 7pm
By Larry Wilhelm. When the Golemworks in Magnimar
starts reporting some “problems” with their most
recent batch of golems, the PCs are sent to investigate
in the hope that the Pathfinder Society can get on good
terms with the influential arcane organization.
#4–04 King of the Storval Stairs (7-11)
Friday 7pm
By Dennis Baker. The PCs are sent to map the Storval
Stairs and ensure the stairs provide a safe route to the
Storval Rise from Magnimar, but upon their arrival,
they find the ancient site claimed and “ruled” by the
self-proclaimed King of the Storval Stairs. Only through
guile, diplomacy, or cold steel will the Pathfinders
ensure access to iconic Thassilonian location.
#4–05 The Sanos Abduction (3-7)
Saturday 8am
By Jerome Virnich. The Pathfinders are sent to
the Sanos Forest in central Varisia to assist an
agent researching the fey who inhabit the remote
wood. But like many seemingly routine tasks in a
Pathfinder’s adventuring career, the simple support
mission quickly turns into an adventure the PCs
aren’t soon to forget—presuming they survive.
#4–06 The Green Market (5-9)
Friday 1pm
By Sean McGowan. The Pathfinder Society has
secured one end of a portal from Golarion leading
to an isolated demiplane rife with adventuring
opportunities. Now all that remains is gaining
control of the other end, thereby ensuring safe and
continued use by Pathfinders for years to come. The
PCs are selected as the best chance the Decemvirate
has of claiming the portal for their own.
Saturday 8am
By Jim Groves. When an ally of the Society reports
that her sister’s business is being harassed by the Aspis
Consortium in Korvosa, a team of Pathfinder agents
is dispatched to the Green Market to assist. What
they find there is more than simple strong-arming
and intimidation. What mysterious forces bring the
popular market its unlikely success, and can the PCs
stop the Aspis Consortium from gaining control of a
lucrative resource for the rival organization?
#4–01 Rise of the Goblin Guild (1-5)
#4–07 Severing Ties (1-5)
Friday 7pm
By Matthew Goodall. When a monster is discovered
on the grounds of the Pathfinder Lodge at Heidmarch
Manor in Magnimar, an investigation into its appearance
leads the PCs deep under the City of Monuments—and
face to face with a burgeoning thieves’ guild.
#4–02 In Wrath’s Shadow (3-7)
Friday 7pm
By Mike Shel. In the ruins of Xin-Bakrakhan—seat
of power of the Runelord of Wrath—the Pathfinder
Society stands on the verge of a great discovery, but
first the brave agents exploring the ruins must survive
ages-old dangers and contemporary threats to return
with the knowledge and wealth they’ve unearthed.
Saturday 8am
By Ron Lundeen. The Pathfinder Society has
discovered a new Aspis Consortium base in the
pirate city of Riddleport and sends a small team of
agents to infiltrate the rival cell disguised as newly
hired mercenaries from Magnimar. After proving
their value to the Aspis Consortium, the Pathfinders
can learn the location of one of the consortium’s
local allies and ensure that the support the Aspis
Consortium is counting on from their friends
won’t come.
#4–08 The Cultist’s Kiss (7-11)
Saturday 8am
By Sam Zeitlin. An active cell of the cult of Lissala has
been discovered in the Varisian town of Palin’s Cove.
Seeking a chance to learn about this long-lost faith, a
team of Pathfinders travels to the industrial seaside
settlement to uncover the secret coven and infiltrate
its services in the guise of prospective converts. Will
the Pathfinders discover the knowledge they seek,
or will the evil cult subvert them with its vile and
seductive faith?
#4–09 The Blakros Matrimony (3-7)
Saturday 1pm
By Thurston Hillman. The eldest daughter of the
prominent Blakros family is set to wed an influential
Hellknight, and the Pathfinder Society is invited to the
festivities. A team of Pathfinders attend the ceremony
on behalf of the Decemvirate, but will their presence
ultimately strengthen the Society’s relationship with
the influential Blakroses, or will events at the wedding
bring the already tenuous alliance to a breaking point?
#4–10 Feast of Sigils (7-11)
Saturday 1pm
By Dennis Baker. In Kaer Maga, the mysterious and
dangerous cliffside City of Strangers in untamed
Varisia, the Pathfinder Society will come face to face
with a sect of the cult of Lissala who prey upon the
city’s most vulnerable denizens to increase their own
power. To what end do they conduct the ancient
Feast of Sigils ritual, and can the Pathfinders stop
them before their evil plans come to fruition?”
#4–11 The Disappeared (1-5)
Saturday 1pm
By Jonathan H. Keith. A powerful ally of the
Pathfinder Society has disappeared, and no one
but the Pathfinders even remembers that she ever
existed. Can the PCs discover the fate of their
missing associate, or will all memory of her be erased
completely from history?”
#4–12: The Refuge of Time (7-11)
Sunday 8am
By Steve Miller. In the ruins of a fallen empire built
on the power of sin lies the key to awakening a great
evil from a time long gone. The Pathfinder Society
isn’t the only organization seeking this potent
artifact, however, and the result of failure could mean
disaster for the whole of Varisia and beyond.
#4–13 Fortress of the Nail (5-9)
Saturday 1pm
By Amanda Hamon. The Pathfinder Society sends
a team of agents into a Hellknight citadel to free a
wrongfully imprisoned ally. Among the law-bound
knights, however, they may find that getting out of
the prison isn’t as easy as getting in.
#4–14 My Enemy’s Enemy (3-7)
Sunday 8am
By James Olchak. Someone in the city of Magnimar is
committing crimes and leaving evidence implicating
the Pathfinder Society. It falls to the Pathfinders to
get to the bottom of it, and what they find may signal
the resurgence of an enemy thought long defeated.
#4–15 The Cyphermage Dilemma (1-5)
Sunday 8am
By Patrick Renie. In the shadow of the cyclopean
Cyphergate that spans Riddleport’s harbor, the
PCs find themselves embroiled in a dangerous plot
of deception that one could only find in Varisia’s
infamous pirate port.
#4–16 The Fabric of Reality (5-9)
Sunday 8am
By Tom Philips. For the past year, the Pathfinder
Society has used the isolated demiplane contained in

Role Play. You’re a college student at Hilltop College
in 1981. Last year a guy named Eric DMed a game
that was apparently amazing, but afterwards no one
would talk about it. It had something to do with the
Elemental Plane of FRP, whatever that is. This year
his girlfriend Renate is missing, and you’ve got to find
her. Is it somehow tied to the mysterious game run
last year? Is it tied to campus visit of the bestselling
Star Trek novelist S. B. Kobold? Probably, or else
I wouldn’t have bothered mentioning them in this
blurb.

A not-the-Pathfinder-Society drunken-comedy

former Pathfinder Venture-Captain has learned
that Oxzakosh Man-Blooded, lord of Clan SkySunder, is in possession of a pillow which once

is said that the magical cushion used during his
lifetime has strange and otherworldly properties. The
ex-Pathfinder, a lecherous Ustulavan inebriate by the
name of Remoobius VonNotnilken, plans to obtain
the item and deliver it to the Grand Lodge which
has so long shunned him, in high hopes of being
re-instated in their league; to that end, he has cajoled
a cadre of Pathfinders and associates into taking on
the rented roles of the masked Merry Jackanapes,
journeying into the dangerous lands of Belkzen, and
stealing the tyrant’s pillow under cover of night and
drunken revelry.
