2016 ANNUAL JOINT CONFERENCE
WV-AWWA & WVWEA Members and Families:
On behalf of the West Virginia Section of the American Water Works Association and the West
Virginia Water Environment Association Board of Directors, please allow us to extend a warm
welcome and invitation to you to attend the 2016 Annual Joint Conference. This year’s conference will take place at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling.
The festivities will begin on Sunday, May 22, 2016 with our annual Terry Smith Memorial Golf
Tournament, followed by a picnic from 3:00 p.m.—7:00 p.m. at Hess Shelter (map included).
We will be having the tapping and meter madness contests at the picnic. The conference will
conclude on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 with the Annual Business Meeting. The Program
Committees from the WEA and AWWA have compiled a diverse technical session schedule
offering numerous CEH opportunities.
We anticipate a full exhibit hall with the latest water and wastewater industry related technology
displayed and expert technical representatives to present their information. Please make it a
priority to browse the exhibit hall and interact with the vendors. Their participation helps make
our conference possible each year through their generous support.
The Board has presented the WVBPH with 20.5 CEH’s for water and 18.5 CEH’s for
wastewater. These credit hours will be available to each person at the conclusion of each
seminar session.
We encourage you to come and take advantage of everything that this year’s conference has to
offer – great food, fun, fellowship, professional development and the latest technologies in the
exhibit hall.

Procedures and Guidelines for Exhibitors
2016 Annual Joint Conference WV-AWWA/WEA
Exhibit Hall
Location:
Oglebay Resort, Wheeling, WV
Exhibit Spaces:
Exhibit spaces will measure approx. 4’ x 6 ft. tables will be
provided by the lodge. Spaces will be assigned on a first come
first serve basis. Size of table subject to change.
Type of Exhibit:
Exhibits shall be limited to displays, (literature, demonstrations,
products) which can be accommodated within the space allotted
Exhibit Hall:
Please bring your own extension cords.
There will be door prizes given away in the exhibitor’s hall both days.
Set up Time:
Monday May 23– 8:00 A.M. to Noon.
Tear Down:
All displays must be removed by 10:00 AM Wed. May 25.
Tear down may start after 6:00 p.m. Tues. May 24, 2016.
Display Hours:
Monday May 23- 4:00 P.M to 6:00 p.m. & Tuesday May 24
4:00- 6:00 P.M. in the vendor area there will appetizers,
refreshments, cash bar and plenty of door prizes.

The exhibition area will be locked overnight. The Resort

Golf Tournament:
The Annual golf tournament is scheduled for May 22, with a
7:00 AM shotgun start at the Arnold Palmer course. Golf registration and sponsor
forms are included in this packet.

TIME: 7:00AM (Please arrive by 6:30 am)
