Greetings Auxiliary Families,
The hairstyle with the most votes is braids. Students may get their hair styled in box braids or
Senegalese twists. Students may also wear crochet box braids or Senegalese twists. The length
of the hair is not to pass the student’s waist but should pass the shoulders. The thickness of the
hair is student’s choice as long as she can style it half up/ half down and in a bun. The longer the
hair, the harder it is for student to perform due to the weight of the hair. All hair is to be styled by
the 1st football game (August 19, 2016). The football schedule will be posted on our website. If
students are interested in getting color in her hair please give a heads up to Ms. Stribling. Bold
colors will isolate the students in competition making her look like a soloist to the judges. This can
affect us negatively during scoring. Please be sure to check the braids section on the Hairstyles
Pros & Cons on the website for more helpful tips. The braid hairstyle is to be worn at every
football game through the last competition and anytime the rainbow colored formal uniform is
worn. Afterwards students may wear her hair as chooses as long as it is neatly styled. If you
know of any braiders and wouldn’t mind sharing their information please place their contact
information here.

a break when needed.
