Financial Overview
You are receiving the 2013-2014 Annual Report because you have helped
Fun Time provide another successful year of learning for children from
financially disadvantage families. We thank you for choosing to contribute
to the strong foundation of our program.
Our Financial Overview displays the general categories of our revenue,
from both supporters like you and school-generated income. Each funding
source has made it possible for us to achieve our mission. We are especially
grateful to the strength and power of our Cornerstone Supporters, who year
after year show us they care. Additionally, we thank the many supporters of
our annual fundraising event. The large and growing group of individuals,
families, foundations, corporations and churches who have given support
also have our sincere appreciation. All of you have helped make this a
successful year for Fun Time and the children we serve.
Eighty-four two-to five-year-olds benefitted from a year-round nationally
accredited Fun Time education. Once again we proudly sent young
learners into the local kindergartens well prepared, with skills necessary
for academic success. This past year we had 48% boys and 52% girls. Our
ethnic background was comprised of 52% blacks, 39% Hispanics and 9%
Caucasians. The families of our children live primarily in the local low-income River Park
