This two-person Krucker Manufacturing Cygnet amphibious trike aircraft , 912 edition, has FAA N-number (N-34-CW), is FAA registered in the Experimental Light Sport category (E-LSA), serial number H2O0038, USM property number 212351. This aircraft is complete but has not flown or been inspected by a licensed mechanic since before 2010. It is being sold as is and where is (Stennis Space Center, Mississippi) with no assurance of condition or functionality. The aircraft includes the following components and characteristics: - Krucker Trike Design. The Krucker Cygnet Trike is a two-person experimental light sport aircraft, and includes a custom instrument panel outfitted with altimeter, tachometer, voltage gauge, oil temperature, water temperature, and exhaust gas temp gauges, airspeed gauge, aauxiliary 12 volt power outlet, keyed ignition and dual magneto cut offs, custom seat cushions and saddle bags. - Krucker Float System. The Krucker amphibious float system is designed specifically for trikes. The float step is much further forward than conventional floats. The floats are produced from 5052 aluminum the same as that used in aluminum boat construction. They are designed to withstand daily salt-water use. In flight the floats fly with a 2 degree angle of attack which decreases drag and allows the trike to fly virtually the same as it would if equipped with wheels only. Water rudders operated by cables are also included with the floats. A second set of floats is also included in the sale; these are damaged but repairable. - Landing Gear. The trike is outfitted with retractable landing gear for easy retraction and extension in flight. This allows the pilot to drive right into the water on the wheels, retract them and take off on floats. Back at the boat ramp or beach, lower the wheels and drive up the ramp or beach onto the trailer, hangar or garage. - Rotax 912 Aircraft Engine. The aircraft is powered by the Rotax 912 Aircraft engine, which is manufactured by Rotax Manufacturing, a subsidiary of aircraft maker Bombardier. The Rotax 912 engine for redundancy and safety is manufactured with dual carburetor, and dual magnetos. - Trike Wing. The wing is a Hazard 15 meter double surface trike wing complete, with all battens, control bar and wing bag cover, all in in good condition. - Ballistic Recovery Parachute. The aircraft is equipped with an installed BRS Ballistic Recovery Systems rocket deployed safety parachute system designed to bring the aircraft and pilot down together safely in the event of an emergency - Additional Instrument Components. Also included in this sale are: - one new, uninstalled Microair TFL 2000 altitude encoding transponder and the altitude encoder, with wiring harness and antenna. - Trailer. The aircraft comes complete with a Triton Tilt trailer, with in route wheel tie downs specifically designed to hold the Trike wheel in place during travel. The tilt trailer design allows the aircraft to be easily loaded and rolled off of the trailer bed for fast and convenient transportation. - Helmets and Intercom. Two Flycom FH-1V helmets, a complete intercom and radio interface, and all cables and PTTs are included (www.flycom.co.uk). These are brand new, never used, and in their original, protective bags. No radios are included Figure 1 This image shows the complete aircraft as it appeared when the previous owner had it. Figure 3 The aircraft on its trailer in our air conditioned shop. Since that time, the trike has been stored in an air conditioned shop space. AS IS Sale. The aircraft has less than 300 hours total use. The aircraft and trailer are being sold in as is condition without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The items are located at the Stennis Space Center which is near Exit #2 of I-10 in Mississippi.
