Idepconsult is a group of Architects, Engineers and Designers. The main offices are located in Beirut, Lebanon, with branches in Los
Angeles, USA, Cairo, Egypt and Doha, Qatar. IDEPCONSULT has also a representation office in Geneva, Switzerland. Established in early
1979, it has been developing during the past years to provide a full professional service for all types of building projects. The flexibility and
continuity in the execution and control of projects is obtained by including several members who provide specialized professional services
on a consulting basis. All members of the group are fully qualified and experienced in their particular field and have been trained in the
United States and Europe or in universities in the Middle East. Each member has had personal experience in architectural and engineering
design and supervision throughout the Middle East.
Our professional practice is based on the belief that building design is an integral expression of the spirit of man. Thus we are convinced
of our social responsibility to meet man’s basic needs. We adhere to the principle of hiring the best knowledge to develop technically
perfect building, aesthetically pleasing and economically feasible. However, we reject imitations that tend to destroy the evolution of the
area’s cultural concept and therefore emphasize the new rehearsed expression that is derived from the continuity of a well coordinated
physical environment. This is achieved through constant team approach that forces the solution to be evolved by the utilization of combined
knowledge. Furthermore, the final physical expression of a building is achieved by the continuity of the creative process of design all through
the final management stages of the construction.
Our main specialty is Architecture, Engineering Design and Construction Management. The flexibility and continuity in the execution and
control of projects is obtained by including several members who provide specialized professional services on a consulting basis. Each
member has had personal experience in architectural and engineering design and supervision throughout the Middle East. All projects have
been completed with quality, on time and within budget, meeting all construction requirements of the owner.
IDEPCONSULT is now designing several projects of which the Lot 1338 Retail and Entertainment Building facing the Souks. IDEPCONSULT
has handed over the first SPINNEYS Hypermarket in CityStars in Cairo, Egypt in June 2006 and is designing a new one for Irbil, Iraq.
IDEPCONSULT is actually in charge of the design and supervision of the new AUDI Bank branches in Cairo, Alexandria, Hurghada and the
Delta area. Twenty six branches have been designed up to this date from which twelve are operative and eight under execution.
IDEPCONSULT has designed the Portémilio Beach Resort and Suites Hotel located in Kaslik, Jounieh, Lebanon. This beach resort consists
of 400 apartments, two swimming pools, two tennis courts, restaurants, commercial center and a 600 underground car-park. The Five Stars
Hotel consists of 181 guest rooms, suites & royal suites.
IDEPCONSULT has gained, throughout the last ten years, a wide experience in retail design and construction management in Lebanon and
Egypt with the completion of seven SPINNEYS hyper and supermarkets. In all of these projects IDEPCONSULT has assisted and closely
coordinated with SPINNEYS’ administration in all of its decisions; from the site location up to the project handing over.
IDEPCONSULT is in charge of the design, supervision and construction management of the Embassy Complex situated next to the Grand Serail
in Solidere, Beirut Central District. This 21,000 m² office building is regrouping the Australian, the British and the Japanese Embassies.
PAC Headquarters, Adma, Lebanon (Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation International, LBCI) is a 42,000 m² building consisting of seven
studios, three dubbing studios, 11,000 m² of offices, TV production facilities, workshops, storage and a 400 over ground car-park.
IDEPCONSULT acts as consultants for CreditBank. IDEPCONSULT is in charge of the design, the supervision and the construction
management of 14 new projected branches; nine of them we handed over. IDEPCONSULT has finished in October 2004 the main headquarter
of CreditBank, a six stories 3,400 m² of offices, in the Freeway Center, Sin El Fil. The total amount of the executed works sums up to around
8,000,000 USD.

Mounir Saroufim graduated from Ain Shams University Cairo, Egypt in 1975 with a B.S. in Architecture/Polytechnics and
Urbanism Studies. His architectural practice was founded in 1979 and is now known as IDEPCONSULT, Mounir Saroufim and
Partners. Since IDEPCONSULT’s inception, the practice has completed more than 100 projects in Lebanon, Europe and the
Arab countries, ranging from residential, commercial, TV stations, hospitality to office buildings.
Mounir Saroufim is member of the Lebanese Order of Engineers and Architect in Beirut and the American Institute of
Architects. He is member of the International Institute of Hospital Consultants - Netherlands. He has been a Professor for the
final year students at the Académie Libanaise des Beaux Arts (ALBA), Beirut, Lebanon since 1984.
IDEPCONSULT is classified in the First Category with the Lebanese Ministry of Public Works “Consultant Division”.

Chadi Saroufim graduated from the Académie Libanaise
des Beaux Arts (ALBA), Beirut, Lebanon in 2002 with a
Master in Architecture. In 2006, he obtained a Master
in Urban Design from the American University of Beirut
(AUB), Lebanon. Chadi Saroufim is member of the
Lebanese Order of Engineers and Architects in Beirut and
the American Institute of Architects.
Chérine Saroufim graduated from the Académie Libanaise
des Beaux Arts (ALBA), Beirut, Lebanon in 2004 with a
Master in Interior Architecture. In 2007, she obtained a
Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from Parsons The New
School for Design, New York.
Since 1992, he has been an active member and partner of

of the multiple benefits of Faqra Club. Nested in the heights of the Lebanese
mountain near Kfardebiane village, the club started in 1976. It enjoys an
exceptional location, a dry and pleasant climate and open panoramas, all of
which had attracted the Romans at the time of the Empire, when they built a
magnificent temple whose ruins remain an attraction to the visitors next to the club.
