Parish Mission Statement
The Roman Catholic Family of Blessed Teresa
of Calcutta Parish recognizes the importance
of following in the footsteps of our patroness
in sharing our time, talent and treasure.
Through ordinary and simple actions, we strive
to teach and spread the Catholic faith, leading
all to know God in a personal and loving way.
In the celebration of the Eucharist, the parish
community receives energy to care for the
needs of all people through acts of kindness
and love.
Dear Parishioners,
In our Gospel today Jesus sends the disciples out on
missionary journeys to proclaim the Good News. Jesus
knew that not everyone would listen and accept the
message and some would rebel against it. As we are
called to be those missionaries today, we need to be
faithful is proclaiming the message even though it may
not be accepted by all.
Fr. Brandt
We ourselves feel that what we are doing is just a drop in
the ocean. But if that drop was not there, I think the
ocean would be less by that missing drop. We don’t have
to think in numbers. We can only love one person at a
time—serve one person at a time.
