Destruction of Europe’s Jews: Historical Events, Causes, and Personal Experiences Paul Schatzberg 2012 - 2013 Presentation Schedule Sundays, 9:30 a.m. Paul Schatzberg was born in Vienna, Austria, and at age 10 experienced the takeover by Germany and its terrible consequences. As a part-time graduate student at Baltimore Hebrew University (BHU) for over ten years, he studied the Hebrew Bible, Jewish Philosophy, and History, including the Shoah. Paul taught Holocaust History for the Elderhostel Program, sponsored by BHU. He has participated in a number of conferences on the Holocaust and has attended many seminars and lectures at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum.
