Upgrade Procedure
This upgrade is divided into two parts: an upgrade to the Matrox drivers and an upgrade
to the Geevs software. If you are only updating client computers, you do not require
Matrox drivers and only have to update the Geevs software.
Server Upgrade
Your Geevs license number remains the same, but for security reasons you should make
a backup copy of the xxxxxxxx.license file prior to the upgrade. You will find the license
file in the folder C:\Program Data\Geevs\CFG.
Although this update should not alter any database or Geevs configuration data, it is
recommended that you record all channel and client settings, and the EditShare setup
where applicable.
Note: The update procedure must be implemented in full and in the following order:
•
Checking the Matrox Card Model Number
