What is it like to perform at Benaroya
Hall? Several members of the Everett
Chorale who have sung at Benroya Hall
previously had the following comments.
“It is majestic. It evokes a sense of
pride to be able to sing here.” “I feel
joy thinking about singing at Benaroya.
It is an awesome place with outstanding
acoustics.” “ Thinking about singing at
Benaroya stokes me up. It is equivalent
to singing at Carnegie Hall.” “The
acoustics are fabulous and invoke a
sense of grandness.”
The auditorium seats 2,479. The
tiered seating and world-class acoustics make for a fabulous concert experience in the audience.
Opened in 1998, Benaroya quickly became noted for its technology-infused
acoustics, touches of luxury and
prominent location. It occupies an entire city block in the center of Seattle
and has helped double the Seattle
Symphony’s budget and number of
performances.
